Welp, thank God this washes well and works perfectly with a potty training toddler! Not noisy like the good old plastic tarps from the olden days. Feels just like a thick sheet and haven’t had any leaks. Has been washed more times than I would prefer but I guess that comes with the territory. Detergent is cheaper than diapers! Lol. I have been meaning to write this review for a while. I bought this mattress protector for a new loft bed mattress I bought for my 9 year old. It is very thin and appears breathable although I don't sleep on it. So thin in fact that I really didn't think it would prevent a serious accident or spill. But I was wrong! My son accidentally spilled a whole mug of hot chocolate in his bed and neglected to tell me and then went to school and being that it is a loft bed I didn't realize until that night when he was getting reading for bed. I thought for sure the mattress would be ruined with wet liquid sitting on it all day, but the mattress was completely dry with no stains!
