I'm really impressed with this Sportsroyals Stair Stepper! It's surprisingly small, which is perfect for my home gym (or really, any spot in the house). Great size for small spaces. I used this in my office on lunch break. The resistance bands are nice and strong, but may not be long enough for taller people. The steps have a nice, strong resistance and move in a natural stepping motion instead of up and down. If you don’t like a challenge, try something else. This stepper is not super easy and that’s awesome! If you have been sedentary in an office for years, start with small goals first. Start at 3 minutes and work your way up week over week, otherwise your legs will be rubber and sore. I enjoy my stepper. I highly recommend this one. Well worth the money for the quality and performance!

I put this in my work-from-home office to ensure I'm getting up now and then and moving. I've over 25,000 steps now and it is working great. Easy to set up and get started, and noise level is pretty low. Stability is great, and like the instructions that show several recommended moves to engage arms while stepping. My only complaint is minor, the operation of the menu. Having to hit the button numerous times to force scroll through to reset time, for example. Still, highly recommend this stepper.

The display is accurate. 20 minute assembly time ...I kept dropping the nuts. Handle is not adjustable. I am 5'5" and it is fine. The tension does not adjust but I am getting around that by not doing full strides until I get used to it. Just with bare feet and it was comfortable but using trainers to help with knee cushioning. I didn't choose the other brands because of complaints that pieces didn't fit right or a handle was left out etc. This item everything was well protected and shipped in perfect condition. Most of the screws are pre-installed so I didn't have to guess which screw for which hole (I'm challenged). Used it for about 60 seconds to test the display and worked up a slight sweat at 180lbs it doesn't take much. Feels sturdy and well made. Using it with my treadmill while walking to BitGym videos. My goal is 125lbs by the end of the year. They had me at 15 minutes equals 30 minutes of walking so we shall see. I'll try to remember to update 12/31 if my post meno brain allows me.

I love that you pull this out of the box and it's ready to use! I bought it for my office at work and use it a few minutes every hour to get some movement throughout the day. Seems sturdy, it is very quiet, and easy to use. I would purchase again.

I’ve been using this now five days a week for almost three months, and it’s really unlocked my motivation to exercise consistently. It’s easy to move around to use while watching TV or reading on my e-reader, and really gets a good burn going. It does take a few minutes from when you first step on it to “loosen up” - it will feel like there’s a lot of resistance at first, but once you push past that it’s easy to keep up a good pace. I do 20/25 minutes at a time and burn around ~200-250 calories per workout, especially when I incorporate the arms. I follow it up with a 25 minute stationary bike ride. It’s really nice to break up what otherwise might feel like a daunting 50 minute workout into two moderate-high intensity 25 minute workouts. It’s pretty quiet, too - my partner says it doesn’t bother him while we’re watching something together. I’ve noticed that, for whatever reason, if you’re using the arm portion while stepping it might squeak a little, but I think that has more to do with the hinges that attach the arm bands. I use the arms for only 5-10 out of my whole exercise so this isn’t an issue for me.

I have not used it for a workout yet. This review is based on unboxing and making sure it works properly. I may return to give an update after I’ve used it for at least 2 weeks Pros: Fully assembled; compact; good resistance; seemingly durable (330lb limit- I’m 257; I stepped on it briefly); Stretch and exercise tips/suggestions provided. Cons: No device instructions; No grip ( use with a mat); display screen bent/ not secure 1. To reset the display screen, press the button for about 5 seconds. 2. To adjust the height of the pedal for your desired use, turn the knob under the stepper. Turn to the left (-) if you want the height between steps to be shorter. Turn to the right (+) if you want the height between steps to be taller.

I bought this to supplement my exercise at home routine. I've had it for several months now and use it five days a week. It was simple to setup, there was only one piece that needed to be connected. I've been able to store in my closet when not in use. It's definitely a workout for the legs if like me you're not someone who had been exercising regularly. As noted in other reviews there does seem to be some breakage of plastic components that occurs. Its small black plastic pieces that seem to break off due to the heat generating during use. I've also needed to tighten some of the screws since they were becoming loose and causing creaking sounds. It didn't impact stability for me but it might if you don't fix it.
