The colors, makeup (i.e., paper, wire hangers, rings, etc.) are perfectly fine. However, the pictures are deceptive showing different sized pieces (planets,) when they're all the same size and unproportionate if scaled to the actual solar system, or individual planets. In addition, the rings are hard to adhere to the lantern as they are too big, and the double sided adhesive that's included may as well have been left out because it's about as useful a a bucket with holes. ... show more

These lanterns are decent quality and easy to assemble, but please remember they are paper lanterns. The only problem I had is they are all the same size. I am not blaming the manufacturer, but every photograph shown implies that the planets are differing sizes, which would have been great. The sizing information only gives one size, but seemed to imply that it was the overall shipping dimensions. That is the only reason I took a star off. With that in mind, I think anyone would be happy with the purchase. ... show more
