    • Incredible image quality with one BIG flaw; SENSOR DUST
My title likely sums up everything I’m about to say. After 21 years of working as a professional photographer, this camera stands out as the highest dynamic range and highest image quality camera I’ve ever used. I’ve used almost every digital camera produced by canon since 2003. Over the past few years I’ve use the 5DS and 5DSR. While those cameras have 50 megapixel sensors, the Sony stands out with even more clarity and pixels. Focusing was fast, all of the buttons are easy to program, the lens quality (24-105) terrific and the price is on point. My problems with this camera stem from one being ergonomics in the hand and second, which is the dealbreaker for me, SENSOR DUST. Over the past five years canon cameras have found a way to keep the dust off sensors. Sony, not so much. I was sad to learn that almost all of my images had dust spots. Even without changing lenses, the dust with somehow found its way in. This is a huge dealbreaker for me. I was so impressed with the image quality yet so confused at Sonys lack of addressing something as simple as dust. This is an amazing camera! Don’t get me wrong. However, for me, If I’m spending more time working on the images to take dust out, then the camera is no longer of value to me. ... show more
