After a long search for exactly this I am very pleased with their price, size and ability. I was finally able to control some wall lamps that shine onto paintings and my exterior lighting that I couldn’t change to smart bulbs. Paired instantly with the Philips Hue hub and they even act as repeaters to extend the range of your hub which is a bonus. Was so pleased I purchased more to automate other lights in my home. The ability to allow you to still attach the switch is also very handy. Just be careful of how much load you’re apply to them as they state maximum 10 amps. Not really a problem if you’re just controlling LED lights. Just a side note, I saw a couple reviews of people complaining about functionality with Philips Hue. I don’t think it’s a problem with this product rather a glitch on the Hue app. If controlling the SONOFF with automation or routines with the Hue app, it seems to have a problem turning the device off. It will turn it on just fine. It will show it turning off in the app but never actually does and then it shows it came back on. But I found using another app such as Smart Things or even Alexa, it works perfectly and turns off the relay when it should. So just don’t use the Hue app for turning it off but everything else works fine. ... show more

We have 80+ Zigbee bulbs in our home and it's a constant annoyance between people flipping switches and power outages causing most to reset to the On state — a particular pain when everyone is asleep. I want switches. Switches that either restore their previous state or default to off. Preferably that run on Zigbee and are much cheaper than the Lutron Caseta Dimmers I use for our outdoor fixtures. The ZBMINI-L seems like the answer. Pros: Cheap. Zigbee. Cheap. No neutral required. Cheap. Resets to Off after power outage. Did I mention, cheap? Cons: They're too damned big. Non-dimmable. I've installed four in our ADU as a test — one in a single-gang box, two in a double-gang, and two as one side of a double-gang — and every single one was a pain to make fit. For the two-in-double-gang I ended up replacing the two switches with a 2-in-1 and it was still difficult. The single-gang I found was attached to an LV bracket, so I replaced it with an extra-deep box... and it was still a challenge. If I buy more of these I will probably start the next install by minimizing the length of wires in each box and replacing the wire nuts with push-in connectors to *hopefully* make it easier to squish everything in, but the hard truth is that the size and shape of these relays are poorly suited to US-style electrical boxes. Sonoff would do better to sell switches instead of relays for the US market. But before I buy more I'm going to inventory all my switches to verify that neutrals are missing because it turned out that I have neutral wires in my ADU, and having a neutral wire opens up more options that aren't as cheap as these but much more reasonably priced than Caseta dimmers. ... show more

Almost returned this when following the pairing directions enclosed with the device just did not work. Tried multiple times to get it detected using both methods set out. The directions seemed to apply to Wi-Fi, not Zigbee. Finally just tried adding it with Smartthings and it was immediately detected and installed. The directions do not even explain how to remove the cover-figured that out with the illustrations on Amazon. Put on a porch light circuit in a two-gang box. It was a tight fit, the hot wire is used twice so used a 3-way wago connector to minimize size. The good news-once installed and connected it works as advertised and also works with voice thru Alexa (Echo dot). Five stars for function, 3 at best for directions. ... show more

Instructions are poorly written due to translation. You have to figure it out as best as you can. Once you do, it works great. Although it claims to work on 20 amp circuits, I broke two of them trying to tuck it and 6, 12AWG wires back into the box. You need to be careful not to over stress the terminal strip or it will break off. ... show more

If you hook these things up on a table, they work fine, but they are difficult to fit in a standard outlet box along with a standard light switch (Review from America, with American Outlet Boxes). I managed to get two of them installed, but I damaged one unit installing it because I had to press it so hard with the switch to pack them in there. Hint: bend the wiring such that it won't be behind the unit and will allow as much open space in the box as possible. I also had a problem with one unit from the pack having a mangled up button out of the box. Support did respond fast, and they probably would have corrected it, but I had thrown the unit away so I couldn't give them a picture. I'm not really sure how to score that. They technically didn't replace it, but I technically didn't give them any evidence it was broken. ... show more

These are worth every penny!! They are a bit big to stuff into a US sized enclosure, but they'll fit next to a light switch if you pop the cover off. Face the exposed side to the box.
