  • I prefer this to the more expensive blue tooth model
I originally got the more expensive newer version but returned it when could not find the app on the Apple App store. Found out later it is shown as PEF app when you do the search they suggest and is below the one for a PDF app which is strange. But ordered this instead and prefer it. Why? Because it can be tricky to get the correct readings on these devices and you can simply enter the average reading you get in the app. But if bluetooth it would add in ones that are not accurate. This way you control the input and it is not that hard to do. So the PEF app works well for this model, better in my view. I am getting different readings from the Omron device but both are bit tricky to get correct readings. Still I find both useful. I am doing this not for usual reasons. I am doing the Breather Fit exercises which show my PEV to be those expected for half my age. I wanted to see what improvement is shown and find these devices useful for that purpose. I do find the chart function very helpful on the PEF app and can e mail that to share with doctors etc. Can also set the expected values either from doctor or per the estimate from several app choices. Can recommend both this and the Omron devices for those wanting to measure their peak flow. ... show more

  • Good product
Accurate FEV1. BUT, most physicians and pulmonologists track FEV1 and FVC. This device doesn’t measure FVC specifically. Is there a way to convert the PEF to FVC?

  • Does what it should!
I use this with my sons condition and it works perfect! The only flaw is the website it uses is very "simple" and the instructions included show a graph that is hard to read about the numbers. But once you know what numbers you need it works perfect!

  • Is not always accurate
It does work really nice and is much more convenient than the non digital alternative. However, my results are never always consistent if i test multiple times in a row to make sure the number is right. That's where i would buy the non digital personally but still a good product.

  • Exactly the opposite my doctor told me - no copd
I was diagnosed with copd 3 and I went home so depressed. I have asthma for the first time in 30 years and it’s probably due to mold at home because it all started after the heavy rains 6 weeks ago. The medical center I went to was having a hard time calibrating their 1932 old looking machine. I was actually wondering if they made a mistake and thanks God for this model. I got it very fast and with the great video I was able to see that my lung capacity is absolutely normal. Thank you! It’s also affordable and a great investment for my piece of mind. ... show more

  • Love it, use it daily
I have non-allergic rhinitis and one year while up in Fort Worth I found myself in a full blown panic attack while in a parking lot alone. I felt my eyes rolling back and not being able to breath! Turns out I have ‘Allergy Asthma’ which is connected to ONLY ‘SEASONAL’ changes. After several failed diagnoses I had to move back to Austin. This is where i got the help I needed on top of this purchase recommended by many. I use it daily to help me rate my need for my rescue inhaler. An awesome product, thank you maker! ❤️ ... show more
