Our machine worked great for almost 2 years, then it started giving a FPGA code and not working. Contec was amazing to work with. The media could not be loaded. It does everything that I need! Was easily able to confirm pregnancy on my dog. I have had training using an ultrasound but I think for an untrained eye this machine is a great option because it gives a clear image and functions are not complicated. The media could not be loaded. I am so disappointed. The machine seemed nice. Got a decent picture. And I’ve only had it three months and this is what I have now. I take very good care of my things. This machine is put away each time I use it. I’ve used it a total of eight times now. And it’s already broken. What in the heck? This is a lot of money to spend to have something only last three months and when you go look at the return you only get until February 1 to return it so now I’m just out of luck. My advice save your money who wants to spend $1200 on something they only get for three months ... show more

I was skeptical. The item is from China and I have had bad experiences getting low quality goods and no customer service in the past. This is a huge exception. The original ultra-sound had a charging problem. After a few emails, they determined it was a problem with the internal battery. I received a pre-paid return shipping label, INSIDE THE USA. Within 2 weeks I had a replacement that has worked PERFECTLY! No haggling about taking a discount or complaining that they are too far away to take returns. The ultra-sound is easy to figure out and the images are good quality. We have ultra-sounded 6 goats already with great success. The new machine has no charging problems. I breed french bulldogs and this is very nice to have. It saves me money by not having to take my females to the vet for pregnancy confirmations, and it allows them to remain calm since I'm the one doing it.

It is old technology, very cumbersome to use, takes time to set it up, a lot time. Required to persons to use it for what I needed for. Itis big and bulky. Unable to record live videos, which was the mail purpose I need it for. I will return it or exchange for a wifi-bt connected.

Size: linear probe
I use this machine to track follicle growth in ball pythons using the linear probe. This machine is pretty easy to use but could really use a "freeze image" pedal(which isn't even available as an add on that I can find). A really good value for a piece of functional medical equipment.
