Another Option that the manufacturer should include as standard. I wanted the auto retract for awning so I didn't have to jump up if the wind picked up or I was off somewhere and the awning was left out. You have three different sensitivities you can choose from and all three work accordingly. No problems and install is forthright and should be able to install with a screwdriver, a step stool and following the directions. As a last resort you could even youtube it. ... show more

For few months of use, it works great, installation directions not included and impossible to find them thanks to YouTube university I was able to figure stuff up and it work, we will see in long run.

I was able to install this myself in just a few minutes. I have had my camper set up with the awning out for a few weeks, and twice it has closed by itself due to high wind. Now, I can leave the camper without having to worry about wind damage while I am gone.

Great added option to help save your awning. Three levels of sensitivity that will be an awning saver for when micro bursts pop up.

First one didn’t work, second one did but not very well. Solara is cheap and a rip off.

Installed this the day I received it and tested it and everything seemed to work. I put the camper in the shop about two days later and just got it out yesterday. Leaving in 5 days on a trip and tested it and now it does not work. When I go to set the sensitivity the three lights on my panel just flash which is what they did before I ever installed the module. I have unplugged and plugged it back in, same thing. Very disappointed in this $90 purchase. I know my return date has passed but the camper has set in the shop since I received the item. Is there anything you are willing to do to replace this item? ... show more
