    • Clever Design Totally Solves Your Non-Shade Issues
I love the design. What a unique shape. The canopy idea is genius. We have a patio area with no shade, and this solved the issue. Now I can read a book in the shade - perfect! It took a long time for me to assemble it. I did it alone. It's a decent feat by yourself (reaching things), and was time consuming. I feel like the good pricing was "earned out" through my labor hours. Other pros: - Cushions have zippers, so you can wash them. - Tiny feet are included so that it's not scraping on your patio on the bottom. - Canopy collapses when you're not using it so that the fabric doesn't disintegrate in the sun or fly away in the wind. - Clips are included so that sections are not separating constantly. - Cushions have velcro on the bottom so that they're not constantly sliding off of the seat like others I've owned. Other Cons: - The cushions are thin, and the fabric is "meh" - kind of shiny polyester type of thing. It's decently dense for the thin cushion height. - I bought this at the same time as another SOLAURA product. I thought that the body and the cushions would match the other product because I purchased the same brand in the same summer season. That was a naive assumption on my part. They don't match. They coordinate fine enough to live 15 ft from each other on the patio, yet a true match would have been better. - I'm usually lying down to read a book - like a lounger. I am a 67 year old widow and I put this together myself with no help. It took me a week working on it a little at a time. I started with the round center, the two outer sections next and then the couch section. I thought the directions were fine. I did not totally tighten anything until fully assembled which helped a lot. So I haven’t put the canopy on yet, that’s my next project and I’m waiting to hear back from the seller about the couch section. As hard as I tried, there was no way the screws were going to align on the front of the couch section. I loosened everything twice trying to get it to align with no luck. So I tighten it all as is and that’s what the pictures show. I tried calling the number on their “thank you card” that was included with the directions, but each time it’s telling me their mailbox is full. I reached out by email to the address on the card yesterday, but haven’t heard back. I’m feeling like I won’t be hearing from them. I like the set a lot, but feel that without those two screws it just might collapse. Has anyone had the same problem and went ahead and used it anyway? Please let me know how that turned out. I will change my stars if the customer service comes through and if I get the canopy on without any issues. I did need help with the canopy, but not until the end when I had to put on the hydraulic thingies. I could not get them to push in, not strong enough. Luckily, I have a son who came over and took care of that for me. OK so follow up on this product. Quality is good, but will it survive a northeastern Ohio winter? I’ll get back to you on that next Spring. I bought a cover for it and am planning on leaving it outside but will bring the cushions in. It’s almost September 2023 and I love the way it looks on my deck. I have had many compliments. Customer Service stinks though, I think they emailed me twice telling me they would send replacement parts, but I never got them or heard from them again. The cushions cover the problem and I gerry rigged, the front area with support brackets. With the cushions on it, you can’t really see it anyway and I probably will never pull it apart to make it a seating thing. I added a fuzzy rug on top to cover the cushion separations so finally my dog felt comfortable jumping up on it. All in all I really like the look and would probably buy it again. It was one of the least expensive, but I do think, considering the Customer Service and assembling problems, they probably should drop the price a bit.     • Poor Chinese Quality & Nightmare to build.

My husband is a professional builder and it took me 10 hours build this item horrible! I should have known the number of pieces it would come in when it showed up in 2 small box’s. Instructions are terrible, holes do not line up, base not sturdy as parts are not aligned, & wicker unraveling out of the box. The base tries to split apart when sitting on it and just not comfortable. In the process of returning it. We will see how that goes with its large size. This arrived with very clear instructions. Each part was marked including the bolts etc. There are even wrenches, however I found using my own worked better for me. It was easy to assemble. Though it took a little longer than stated, maybe I work a little slower than some. If you are looking for a sofa type item this may not be for you. Even with very long legs it would be hard to sit with your back against the backrest. But it is very comfortable to lounge or lay down on. The cushions could be a little thicker. The size is perfect for me and it looks good on the deck. It will get a lot of use this Summer, ... show more

This was definitely a 3 person job to assemble, but I did like that they sent you a ratchet with the correct size bit. The instructions were easy to read. The STUPID GUARDS on the rods that pop up the cover kept falling off, which made trying to assemble that portion a real pain in the ass. I received 3 little boxes. Reminded my of IKEA. I had to put this together and it was not easy. Instructions are complex. Too many pieces. Seems like it won’t last long since its in a million pieces. Took me over 4 hours to put together. I rather pay more and get it assembled. Or buy a Breyer quality. The middle seat part caves in. ... show more
