seems to be a sturdy well built solar panel. One thing I was worried about was if part of the panel was covered, would it stop completely. Good news is, it still charged, just at a much lower rate.     • This is a great solar panel that I think is very underrated
The price on this seemed too good to be true. The product is very well made in my opinion and a great value per watt. It actually looks like a better version of the Jackery Solar Saga with better stands, more outlet types, and it even closes with magnets like the Solar Saga. I plugged the Solar PoPo 100 watt panel 8mm jack into my Jackery 300 yesterday to see how well it would charge on a mostly Sunny day in mid February and I saw it go as high as 84 watts. I'm sure that I could have got more wattage if I was more anal about getting the best angle to the Sun. ... show more

    • Can charge an Anker 521 but….
For the price, I was expecting worse. Feels well made and better than I expected. I currently am testing it on my Anker 521 powerhouse but only with USB C at the moment. The 8mm that comes with the panel is not long enough for the Anker. So I am getting an Anderson to 8mm. As stated for that product, the connector on the adapter is 11mm long which is what you need. The 8mm that comes with this panel is too short but I suspect that’s what Jackery uses. Seeing 16W input from the USB C so in theory, I should be charging at most 76W. Which should charge the 256 Wh power station in an afternoon. ... show more

I received these last week and today is the first chance I have had to test them out. The price on these was too good to pass up so I took and chance. They arrived well packaged and with no damage. A cursory examination showed them to be well built. Easy to deploy and the support legs are sturdy. On an early November afternoon between 12:00PM and 12:30PM at latitude 43.03 degrees north I set them up and connected them to my homemade solar generator. One panel was providing 127 watts to my mppt solar charge controller and the other was providing 110 watts. Ambient temperature was 65F (18C). Took this solar panel camping and it worked better than expected. As long as you have it facing the sun (obviously) you’ll get an amazing charge out of it. The multiple adapters worked great for charging both my electric generators an I had no issues with it. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with an electric generator or even power for other devices. ... show more

I bought it and in December 2022 It worked satisfactory at the start but over time it grew to unsatisfying after 7 months of use not every day few times a week. 8/28/2023. Problem appeared does not work as it used to. Low wattage on a bright sunny day. Also there has a burnt wire or something in the solar panel ,it looks brownish like melting plastic in the direct sunlight . now today 8/28/2023 after 7 months of use not on a daily use either it's going off and on in direct sunlight . .It just died stopped working now it's not pulling in any solar energy So now I give it a rating of 1. And do not recommended it. Low quality not built to last. Too late to return it for replacement. I have sent a message to solar popo customer support and told them about. Amazon told me it comes with a 24 month warranty. And for me to contact them. Amazon customer service did not have a number for me to call or text. I'll see what they do about it after 7 months of use and it stopped working. there is no contact information. No customer service number through Amazon. Why isn't there a solar popo contact number on my invoice? I can't contact solar popo direct No number to call. The 30 day warranty is all they give. Should of bought extended warranty. This solarpopo panel is now a avoid. 1 star. If company can't even stand by their product at least ,one year then they should tell you that upfront before you buy it.And thru should have a active customer service available for their customers. It's a bs way of doing business. Today is September 5th 2023 I just threw it in the trash after 7 months of use.
