I installed this panel on my roof. The installation was quick and easy and was done by professionals in no time.     • It didn’t work as described with our Google Nest Battery outdoor camera.
It was easy to install. It drained our battery in 2 days. We gave it the benefit of the doubt, charged the battery again and in two days it was dead. All instructions were followed as to how to attach the solar panel to the camera until the “solar” came up on our app. Still no good. We returned this solar panel and the battery charge has only gone down 3% in 2 days. May try another brand next time if we decide to try a solar panel again. I bought this solar panel not really expecting much but I really needed a way to charge my nest camera on the other side of the yard so I figure I'd give it a shot. It actually works really well. As far as installing it's a breeze. I had high hopes this would be the solution for me so I remounted everything to a higher spot counting on these panels. Unfortunately a few days in one of the solar panels (in direct light) failed to charge enough to keep battery maintained. The solar panel installed in the shade is still working as it should be based on the issues already I worry about longevity. Edit: I charged the one camera up from wall plug outlet then reinstalled outside on the solar panel. It seems to be keeping charge now, longevity tbd on these but as for now they are working ... show more
