Renogy 100W solar panel's MC4 connector POSITIVE will feed to the outer sleeve of this 5mm barrel plug, and the internal part will be negative. If that's NOT what you want, you'll need to switch MC4 connectors to fix that.. Other than that, the connector seems well made & solid.

Purchased because different solar generators required different charging connectors: 5.5 mm for Ravpower and 8mm for Technoss solar generators. MC4 connectors/polarities matched perfectly with 100 watt Newpowa polycrystalline panel - received 85 watts at 12 noon, clear skies, April, northern California. Construction quality of connectors and cables seemed adequate for price-point. Very satisfied so far.
