Bought for cousins son and from what I was told he loves it and play with it all thr time, also it's not so big so you can install inside in a room if you wanted or outside .

At the price point I really didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. My 7 yr old grandson is staying with us and crazy about basketball. We set it up in the garage at a height for easy dunking and he used it for hours. The reason for the 4's are twofold. First, the base, once filled with water, is sturdy but there isn't enough surface area to keep it from wobbling. We solved that by putting it in the amazon box and added some heavy items from the house. The second issue is the included basketballs, when filled, are too large for the hoop and when you let out enough air it hardly bounced. We solved that problem by going to Dicks and buyng a couple of inexpensive balls which worked fine. In the end my grandson went home and asked if his mother if he could have one for his birthday and that's the best recommendation of all. ... show more

My 5 year old grandson just started pee wee basketball with the city. So, I wanted to get him something he could practice with in the backyard. The hoop is okay, but not regulation like they have with the city. The balls are too big for the hoop. That might be because the more air you put in, the bigger they get. Regulation balls just get too bouncy if you over fill them. These get bigger, like balloons do. It's very hard to make shots. Kind of like the carnival games where the ball is too big for the hoop, so you can't make the shot unless it's perfect. The "real" ball I bought for him (the size the city uses) won't even fit through the hoop. ... show more

    • Wrong bolts and size
They include all the same bolts then tell you the base one is a bigger thread pattern. Could not put it together and my child cried all night cause he was so excited to play basketball when it came in and could not even be rigged together since I had nothing to attach it to the base. Also very cheap and flimsy but for $40 couldn’t expect much ... show more
