I finished building this thing and it really is space saving and pretty sturdy. I'm 6'2" and over 220 pounds and i feel secure sitting in the chairs and bench. I did notice some tiny scratches on some of the wood but it's mostly unnoticeable and somewhat expected for the price. I only give 4 stars because the quality is not quite 4 stars. However, for the price, it’s great! Now if I wanted to spend $600-$1000 on a kitchen table set I’m sure it would be higher quality, but shopping on a budget, this is working really well! It’s great for a place with limited space! The bench was a little touchy putting it together. We had to get the muscles person to tighten the screws on the bench for it not to be wobbly, once tightened very tightly it was much more secure. It cleans well. Seats 4, but we pull up an additional chair for our family of 5. It’s a tight squeeze but works just fine. Excellent buy for the price! ... show more

This is a perfect fit for downsizing. You have a nice bench that can be pulled out if I have company for dinner or cards. Plus, you can use it for a TV cart or something that you would like for another piece of furniture.
