The box was very heavy. I recommend having a dolly or a couple of friends in the area to help carry it to your desired location. The components were carefully arranged to make the package compact, and everything was mostly protected. The only part that suffered damage was the tableface. There was some styrofoam cloth that looked like it was trying to cover it during shipment, but I guess it got moved around too much. There are little scratches here and there, but the majority of the scratches came after assembling. I put a box on top of the table (not very heavy, I'm not that strong), but it somehow scuffed the table further. I'm being nitpicky, but I'm also giving a warning to those expecting great-quality wood. You are NOT buying great quality wood, it's compacted/recycled and exactly what you're paying for. Now, I'm still giving this a 5 star because of a bunch of things. It's VERY easy to put together. I looked at the directions once and was able to put it all together by going "yeah, this looks right". It's sturdy. Although it's nothing like what your grandparents had back in the day, it's still able to hold some weight. I'm around 5'9", and I love how high it is. This table is definitely for people on the taller side, and the chairs match that height perfectly. The table design/color is beautiful. The tableset is stylish, but not overly so. If you're someone who loves wood items then this is for you. People usually have light/white kitchens, and the deep color of the wood will balance it out to give a nice homely scene. I got it for the design, but the chairs are surprisingly comfortable. I don't want to hype them up too much... but I've sat in worse. I just want to reiterate the wood quality. It scratches very easily. When you buy this table, I recommend also buying some type of tabletop protector because this piece will get scratched. ... show more

I’m really happy with this purchase! So perfect for the price!! The chair leg stretchers were so confusing! But eventually it came together. One screw part was missing but I managed without. Very sturdy table!

We purchased this table for a nook/extra space in our living room so that we would have a place to play games and do puzzles together as a family. It's also great for when we are having parties for extra seeting for guest. Very functional! The table was fairly easy to assemble for my husband who is very handy. All the parts and pieces were in the box and very well laid out instructions provided. Most may need someone to help them put it together. It's beautiful, sturdy and came just as described. I never leave reviews. However, I always look at reviews, photos and videos before making a purchase online. I was impressed by what I saw in the reviews. so I ordered this table. It came quicker than I thought which is a HUGE plus! It is heavy, so you’ll need 2 people to bring inside the house. However I put it together by myself, it wasn’t hard at all. It’s very sturdy and durable. Needless to say, it’s even better and more beautifully made than I expected! My photo doesn’t do it any justice. I love love love this table and chair set. Be sure to follow the directions when you’re putting it together and it will be much easier. I put this together by myself. I don’t know how long it took because I just took my time.

Table arrived ok, undamaged. However the chairs are not the same as pictured. They are fine, and put together already so feels not worth hassle to try and return it. Just annoying.

This took a long time to put together. The many tiny Allen wrenches were tiring to use on screw after screw but you will still have to provide your own screwdriver for the chairs. Small complaint, but there is a noticeable notch in the table, and one of the chairs has a mostly covered scrape to the wood. The final product looks alright and if you don't mind taking a day for each chair and one for the table you will likely not end up with bruised finger bones. ... show more
