Assembly was difficult as also stated in many reviews before buying. The wholes for the chairs were not threaded and using the small tool that came with purchase was time consuming. The table is very study and goes perfect with my farmhouse theme. The table has hints of brown in it but it is black. Just received this today, on time with professional assembly. The 2 delivery guys were so nice and they put the table and chairs together , cleaned up in about 35 minutes! First off the table pictured is not the table that comes in the set. My table never arrived. I don't know if it was amazon or the seller. I got in contact with the seller and they were not able to ship me just the table. I went to return the set and Amazon ask if I wanted to keep it and they would also give me $400. I opted for that and purchased this table separately (which was an amazing choice!). The chairs are beautiful but they are a headache. Wood chips everywhere. Assembly was way more difficult then it should be! We had 1 chair that we could only get 4 out of 5 to actually screw in, nothing we did would get it to work. They are sturdy and worth the money, good size and comfortable but assembly is such a headache! ... show more

Unfortunately I bought this table with 6 chairs. The table is of good quality but I got 3 chairs with a factory defect. It is impossible to twist them, which means that the entire backrests move and the chair may break at any moment. Unfortunately, no help from Amazon with the replacement of damaged chairs. ... show more

Took 5 days to fix chair and when we reached the table noticed this white spot in table legs. Does anyone have any suggest what to do now.
