I’m actually extremely surprised with the quality of this table. I figured for the price and because it was ordered online, it would be that cheap material like those bookshelves you buy at target or Walmart. Surprisingly it’s not. The table was heavy and sturdy. I was afraid it would end up being one of those tables that if you bumped it, it would move but thankfully it’s pretty solid. I have a toddler and an elementary school aged child so they can be a little rough. The chairs are very sturdy! While I was building them my toddler climbed up the back of one, like a little ladder. I had a heart attack but the chair didn’t even move! I was so scared I thought it would fall over but it didn’t even shake! I also sat on every chair and the bench to make sure it would shake or wobble. I’m pushing 230 and it held me fine. I like the firm cushions but my husband doesn’t. The only complaint is that the top of the table isn’t smooth it’s rough but I think I’ll just get a piece of glass for it. Ohh and I got the white washed and brown. The cushions are gray but the table top is brown. My house is a lot of grays and blues so it was perfect. ... show more

As you can see it looks great and fits perfectly. I love the set. My only complaint was the setting up part. My partner put it together while I assembled something else and I thought it was fine until I noticed a bunch of screws left over after it was assembled. I thought that was odd but ignored it. Later I realized that my partner “couldn’t” put the screws into the chair. Not sure what happened but I tried too and the screws don’t fit the chair or something. Not sure what I’ll do but the plan is to try to hire someone handy to make it fit or see what is wrong. Replace the screws or something. ... show more

Dining set looked like a finished woodworking class project. The chairs and bench cushions were stiff and nit comfortable. The entire set looks cheap. It might work for a student apt or converted garage. Not up to par for a stylish home.

I love it. It was super easy to say that, with two people it was completed in about 40 minutes. I have had it for two months, and haven’t had any issues. I had twins, so I coded it in Scotchgard twice. Thank god because they spilled red juice all over it… But it came out without any issues. it’s very sturdy, which is important since kids just sit, however, they want and jump all over it. It’s our every day table, and I haven’t noticed any scratches from homework or bubbles in the wood from hot plates and it’s easy to wipe off, couldn’t ask for more for this price. The chairs are made of cheap foam and do not have a solid seat base. Chair foam is already thinning and you can feel the chair frame after sitting for a few minutes. The bench legs are weak and wobbly, 2 of 4 chairs were unbalanced. I regret buying this and getting rid of my old dining set which was sturdy and solid. I wish I would have bought from a local furniture store where I could have seen and tried the chairs beforehand. It's such a pain to return furniture so will just live with this for a year before dumping it for a real dining set. It 'looks' nice but this is definitely cheap imported furniture (you get what you pay for). The table quality is decent but the bench style makes it impossible to use the ends of the tables without banging your knees on the legs. I would avoid this set! ... show more
