The fan came quickly and was well packaged- no issues there. Unfortunately, there was an issue connecting the remote to the receiver and none of the troubleshooting worked. That Sunday afternoon, I reached out to Sofucor customer service via email and got a response back within a few hours. They diagnosed as a possible issue with the receiver and sent a new receiver and remote the same day. Excellent customer service! I installed the new receiver upon arrival and it worked beautifully. The fan is incredibly quiet and moves air well in my bedroom, and I appreciate the styling and natural wood tones. The light has adjustable color and brightness, which is a feature I didn't realize I would use as often as I do. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase! ... show more

I have had this fan for over 2 years and I am still very happy with this fan! I use this fan almost every day during the warmer months of the year. Sometimes I forget and leave it on 24 hours a day and it is still working like new. Several features stand out that deserve mention. 1. Very easy to install as it has a hook that the fan hangs on while connecting wires. I found this to be a life saver! 2. Very quiet operation. .One cannot hear the fan at low speeds but, one certainly can feel the cooling breeze. 3. I use the timer function a lot to turn itself off after a while. 4. The fan blades are carved out of solid wood and they are beautiful! They are also very well balanced for operation at all speeds. The blades are proficient at moving air at low speeds. I have no need to use other speeds outside of the lowest setting. It cools very well at the lowest speed where it makes absolutely no sound. Even at highest speed one does not hear anything but a gentle rush of air around the blades. One thing I didn't like is the remote. As much function as they have built into the remote, it seemed a bit flimsy and cheap. I would be willing to pay a few bucks more for a remote that feels a little more expensive. We absolutely love it. Pros: -It's beautiful. -Most fans similar were faux wood and this one is real and it makes a difference in looks. -Installation was the easiest and nicest fan install we have done and we just replaced 7. This one has a plate that mounts to your ceiling box which the fan mounts on. -There is ample room for the remote receiver in the base. Heck, we could put a couple of receivers up there. No wrestling match to get the receiver positioned right along with the wire nuts which all don't exactly fit well like other fans. -The wiring harness goes up separate from the fan No balancing the unit while connecting wires. Simply wire connect the wiring harness with wire nuts, hold the fan while.plugging the harness into the receiver and up it goes. -it has 6 speed settings which all really do seem to be faster than the one before. -it moves a LOT more air than I was expecting. -Reversing fan direction is done from the remote. I don't have to get up there and hunt for the switch. Now let's hope I don't lose the remote. Cons: -The light engine is warm white and I hate that yellow tint. I will simply order a new light engine to replace. -The brightness/output wattage of the light engine is adequate, but if you use your ceiling lights to make the room super bright you'll want to replace the light engine with a brighter one. -Theotor isn't silent like my old fan. It's not what I would call loud, but... yeah. It's noisy when compared to the other fans in my house. It drowns out the ticking clock, so I guess that might be a positive. -The remote is... way over complicated for what it does. The way it's labeled makes you think that you're controlling the light but pretty much other than on and off on the light, everything controls the fan. Summary: for under $300 I could not find another fan as pretty and functional in this style. Well worth the money. I would give it probably actually 4.75 stars. The noise and having to replace the light engine were too minor to give it less. ... show more

this light is absolutely stunning. it’s SO quiet and does move a lot of air, even on the lowest setting! the main thing i don’t like about it is… we can’t figure out how to get the actual light setting of it to program and stay the warm color. i don’t think it has the capability. so every-time you turn the light off at the wall switch (not with the remote) it resets the whole fan/light and the fan will not be on and it will turn back to the factory setting of the white/bluish LED lighting. if you turn the light on/off with the remote only & always leave the wall switch ON, it will stay to your preferred setting. but once the wall switch is flipped off, it resets. which is pretty lame. if you don’t mind the white/blue light, then it won’t be an issue!! this light is not very bright, i would say it probably compares to a 40w bulb brightness if you’d think of it that way! so it’s definitely a mood setting light which is fine, since we have other light sources in our room & i enjoy a darker space anyways! those are my only gripes! other than that, it’s a gorgeous light. super easy to assemble and install. the blades are solid wood and very gorgeous. we have 8’ ceilings and it works perfect for our space! you can change out the light “bulb” system, it’s just a plug in. so that’s likely what i’ll do, to get something a little brighter and that doesn’t have different light colors so it can stay on the warmer light indefinitely. overall, we love it! it’s very sleek and love the modern look it brings to our space. :) ... show more

I own 3 of these fans. Installation is simple, they look great, and the warranty is real. I run my fans at some level for circulation almost constantly. Out of the 3, 1 of them ended up with a ticking noise coming from the motor. I reached out to customer service and the response was in less than 12 hours with no hassles, they are sending me a replacement.
