We bought these SnugNiture raised garden beds to try for the first time this year. We we’re not disappointed! They are made of sturdy galvanized steel which won’t rust, and have one smooth edge which allows you to handle them without cutting yourself. Assembly is easy because the pieces fit perfectly together with holes that line up well for the screws and wing nuts. There are extra of these along with a mini screw driver and even a pair of gardening gloves. It takes two people about 20 minutes to assemble. Tips: you’ll need a large flat surface such as a table or plywood set on top of two saw horses. Don’t tighten the screws too much until you have all of the pieces put together. ... show more

We bought 3 of these. The first one took a while to put together because we were learning what to do, but the other 2 went much faster. It helps to have 2 people when attaching the cross-bars. Be sure to point the cross bars down so the nuts are facing the bottom so they don't poke you as you work in the soil. We plan to cover the silver screws with a brown Sharpie or paint pen so they don't stand out. I love that they are bottomless so they can drain and drink from the ground. Beware of over-buying on size though -- it takes A LOT of dirt to fill them! Happy planting! ... show more

I had an area between a massive oak tree and the gate of my picket fence that had too many tree roots to effectively plant anything. I purchased the faux wood painted 2x4 ft raised bed. It suited the purpose very well. The assembly was a little tedious, but straightforward. The parts fit together well. A couple of things that were not mentioned in the ad: The top of the sheet metal is folded over so there are no sharp edges exposed after assembly - important for kids and pets. The painted version has a protective film over the paint, which is good. But the film is a bit of a pain to remove. After removing the film, the paint is easy to scratch during assembly. Time will tell whether the scratched areas will rust. I'm hoping the galvanized metal is still intact, and the paint will not peel away from the scratch points. All said, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

This garden bed was super simple to put together and came with all the hardware and tools to do it. It even had a pair of gloves to use to prevent cuts. The edges are actually folded over so it wasn’t an issue if handles carefully. It’s so light I was able to assemble in the comfort of my living room and move outside. But it’s also very sturdy and already survived a rough windstorm without even being filled yet. Very happy with my purchase, I may be getting a second one to plant blueberry bushes in. My handyman assembled all my new raised beds over the last year that I bought from VEGO online and I really like them. But wanted to squeeze in a couple more and decided to give this and another style on Amazon a try to save money for my new hobby. The only thing I wish they had was the protective material to go around the rim, but he said we can get some at the auto parts store as weather stripping. These were just as sturdy- but also better reinforced with crossbars and stakes. I put over weed barrier, pea gravel and chicken wire to keep critters out from tunneling in. I think so many of us started new gardens during COVID and recaptured the joy of growing our own vegetables and flowers and this was definitely a great addition. ... show more

We purchased this because it look good. Assembly was easy. There were no missing parts. It had six cross braces the keep it from bowing in the middle. The first photo shows how it looks in the yard. The second photo shows how I leveled it With brick edging, On the bottom there is week blocking material, it also holds the dirt in place so it doesn't come out at the bottom. Uneven landscape. Love this 2' x 4' x 1' high raised garden bed. I am 76 yrs old and cannot bend over to garden (herniated lumbar disc). With this raised bed, I sit on a little stool and work on my garden.
