I'm not a "Vine" reviewer, so I do not get free stuff - and I do not have to post glowing reviews in exchange for free stuff...I prefer to write my own, unbiased opinion. The review: Update 12/2/19. So far it's holding well. As predicted, head is bit wobbly - snow took its toll on it. However, I was expecting it to give up sooner. I should be able to use it for at least one more season. I live in Northeast, so removing snow and ice from my car is something I am used to. I have also a fair amount of experience with snow brooms - went thru few of them over the years. I have used this broom twice so far, and I am quite pleased. Ice scraper is sturdy, and does it's job, foam head is gentle on the paint. Some reviewers report telescoping pole locking in, so far I have not experienced it. PROS: - lightweight (1.2 lbs). - 18-inch wide non-abrasive foam head -snow removal without damaging paint. - built-in ice scraper. - auto-locking telescoping pole adjustable from 30 in to 49 in. to extend reach. - folds for easy storage. CONS: - attachment of the handle to foam head is simple screw on - in my experience, it might not last too long - depending on amount of snow, especially if it is a wet/icy snow, it might break off easily - I will update as time goes by. - Styrofoam head might not last if used with ice covered snow. - possibility of pole locking in either open or closed position, as per some reviews. As a food for thought, I am wondering if spraying it with WD-40 prior to storage (and off season) might prevent that problem. ... show more

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life, seriously! Cleaning off my car in the past could take me over 15 minutes (on a good day) and often included snow in my shoes, up my sleeves, on my pants, and covering my coat. Being a lifelong New Englander at 5 feet, 2 inches tall, I can say that desperate times (aka 2+ feet of snow) have called for desperate measures - like brooms, mops, and even a metal shovel to clear off my car. :-O With the SnowJoe and a few push-pull swipes my car is cleared off completely in a minute...max. I'm not covered in snow, super agitated, late for work, estimating the cost of a paint job, or praying I won't get a ticket for that small patch of snow left on my roof. How and Why had I never heard of this Snowjoe thing before??! I feel like it's wrong that more people don't know about this thing! It's a total game changer...which I plan on buying one for everyone on my Christmas list next year. ... show more

The video on the page is of a different model one that telescopes and adjusts. What I received is no more than a piece of cheap foam attached by nothing more than a plastic screw in two three thin metal poles held together by nothing more than pressure buttons.

Purchased this a few weeks ago and just had our first snowfall in which to test it. The head snapped off of the first stage of metal pole under VERY light load. This was NOT pushing any heavy snow or ice - and the thing just snapped off. I'm very disappointed, as I really wanted to love this product. I'm hoping that there's a return policy under which I can get this replaced. ... show more

Bought one for my elderly to help get snow off the car. He got so excited that it had a long handle, that he climbed up the ladder and used it as a roof rake! It's not incredibly strong but I also bought my own and used it to clean off the car, and found it to do a perfectly acceptable job. The head is big, so it doesn't take many swipes to clear the windshield and windows. It's made of a thick foam, and I admit I questioned if it would leave marks. You can't beat the price though, for making a PITA job a bit easier. The rods snap together and I suspect won't last forever, but did the job so far. Once it breaks I'll come back to review. If this review has no EDIT, it hasn't broken yet. I'll try to keep track of how many snowfalls it handles. **EDIT: It is now mid January and I just used this thing to "shovel" a sidewalk. It's light powdery snow, so I walked the driveway and dragged it behind me and it cleared the entire walkway in one swipe with zero shoveling. For your porch, it pushes snow right off so no shovel needed. Even if it breaks eventually, it's worth it that I just cleared walkways and 2 cars in less than 4 min. Still glad I got 2 of these as I haven't needed the backup yet. Definitely get one. ... show more

I just received this product and from it was nearly packed and delivered, although the box wasnt taped, I was a little worried. However all good ! So initial impressions : 1. Neatly designed, hence should be easy to store in the car 2. Extension poles are fast to assemble, however feels a little shaky at the joints, may be that's just cos it's easy to assemble ! Note it's all metal. 3. The foam is soft... And sure to not damage the vehicle. Only time would tell it's durability, however I expect it to last long, considering that product is backed by warranty. 4. Also has a ice scrapper ! 4. Surprised to see a warranty card on it .. says 2 years warranty + 90 days bonus coverage ! That could speak for itself for the quality ... show more
