Where to start... honestly I never really trust a lot when it comes to items like this. My other half asked what I wanted for Christmas and I have a lot of lower back pains from falling on ice years ago and having a fracture to my upper and lower spine, I never thought an item like this would work but when asked what I wanted for a gift I said a back massager. He asked me to find one I would like and I came across this. I read over the reviews and still was not fully sure because putting faith into a lot of mechanical items just aren't what they use to be. After receiving the massager I was very impressed with the quality of it firstly. It was not like solid plastic, it had thicker foamed areas, leather like feel, nothing cheap about it. I am a heavy guy at 300lbs, and I stand 6'. The top of it reaches almost to my shoulder so I'm sure if you are shorter you will feel the neck area and it literally works down to your crack. The vibrations are felt all over and on the area that you sit. The roller balls, OMG absolutely AMAZING! I swear it's like a little asian man hidden in there working my back, squeezing, and pressing, working out the knots and rolling themselves around and up and down. Even with my weight against it, it doesn't stop and I just melt into it. Yes the timer is only 15 minutes, but click it back on if you aren't finished. Even if this thing breaks after a few months, I will gladly pay for more. One visit to a real massager will cost this, so who cares if you need to buy a new one every year. So far I've had this for a few weeks and still works perfectly and I am a daily user, some times multiple times daily. ... show more

I highly recommend this product for the price point. (I got it on a sale.) I am a person who loves deep tissue massages and I am not sensitive at all - I prefer it HARD. I would say for an at home device, that the strength is quite impressive. For me, I would love if it were even a little stronger, but it’s very effective as is. I don’t use the vibration at all- feels like a total waste and not useful, but maybe others are into it. It’s kind of a bummer that with the way it’s shaped, it doesn’t really hit my neck at all. But the full back otherwise gets a very nice rub down. I also sometimes put it on the floor and lay belly down, and get a massage to my front- chest and stomach area. The heat function is key- it does take a little time to warm up, but once it does, it helps loosen the tissues. I do wish that when you put it on the “spot” function, where it stays massaging over one area, that it wouldn’t keep changing directions- it pauses and resets the spinning massage points in a way that’s kinda annoying- like I wish it would just keep going without the pause. My complaints are minor, and again, I think it’s a really good deal for what it is. ... show more

I purchased this Snailax Back Massage Cushion for first time a few months ago as a gift for my wife , who had frequently complained of back pain from her work as facial specialist. She immediately loved it and has used frequently at our home for back pain relief. She often takes with her to share during breaks at her salon for her and her coworkers and customers , and they love it as well. I was initially concerned about its durability, but after 4 months of heavy usage it has passed that test with flying colors! And backed under warranty as well! I often experience occasional lower back pain myself from sitting long hours in my job as a food delivery driver, and have utilized it many times for back relief. So I ordered this second one so I can always have it available to use myself! I for first time placed in my car driver seat yesterday to use while waiting for delivery orders and it was wonderful! The massage cushion is very light weight and can easily moved from chair or sofa in one room to another. Control features allow you to select the specific area of back you would like the rolling massage to be concentrated or can also select full, lower, or upper back massage. You can choose seat vibration intensity and turn on cushion heat if desired as well. My family members and I are 100% satisfied with this product and would highly recommend to anyone contemplating purchasing one for back pain relief or just for a very comfortable in chair rolling massage. ... show more

I put this in my recliner and it works well. The massage mechanisms have a good travel length moving all the way up and down the back. It can also massage in place to focus on one spot if desired. I recommend using it with a recliner because then you can recline while getting a massage, which results in more pressure on account of your body weight pushing down on the massager. This does about as well on your back as a message chair that costs hundreds of dollars more. ... show more
