I love this massager! It can sit on any surface, and even has a strap to attach to an upright chair. It works great on living room furniture, and nothing feels so good as a massage while watching tv. The remote gives many options, and I especially love the heat and the lower back only option since that is where I’m having back issues. It really digs into my muscles but not so much it is painful. And you can use the external flaps (or not) to adjust the intensity. My husband loves this too, and he has more issues with his neck and upper back. You can even use the Spot button to target a specific area. So when you find that spot that really needs some kneading, just hit the button and it continues to massage only that area. I’ve only had this a few days and I already am in love. I am reviewing the Snailax SL-256 Shiatsu Massage Cushion with Heat. I own another Shiatsu back massager with 6 stationary rotating massage heads that eventually feel like they are boring holes into my back. This massager is very different, having 2 rotating massage heads that travel up and down the back. It has a wired handheld controller for all functions of the device. You can select an Upper, Lower, or Full back massage. There is a Spot massage mode that lets you guide the massage heads to a specific area of your back using the Up and Down buttons on the controller. In the Spot mode, the massage heads still move up and down a few inches, avoiding the "boring" effect that I mentioned earlier. You can turn the back Heat on or off, set the Timer for 5, 10, or 15 minutes, and set the seat cushion Vibration intensity to Low, Medium, High, or Off. The seat cushion does not have heat or massage heads. The Snailax SL-256 has an attached holster for controller storage, a detachable neck cushion, a detachable padded flap for lowering the massage intensity, elastic straps for securing to a chair, and a wall power adapter. The massager seat and back fold together for storage. Snailax provides a 1 year warranty which can be extended to 3 years by registering the product online within 60 days of purchase. I have not owned this item long enough to judge its durability, but I own other Snailax massage products that have held up well over time. The SL-256 provides a very enjoyable massage to relieve tense or sore muscles. I recommend it to anyone shopping for a full size Shiatsu style back massager. ... show more
