    • Nice messager for back & shoulders but not great for small area like neck.

I looked at several products before deciding on this one. I love that its cordless which is what I noticed people wanted when reviewing plug in models. It also heats if you want that feature. This is convenient and helps my sore back and shoulders. My neck needs messaging too which this one is not that great for. It is too wide and does not bend so I maneuver my head & neck to do one side at a time. Not that big of a deal but I may look into just a neck messager for that. I do wish the operating buttons were lower down the side. I have to twist around to get to the buttons. Which probably isn’t a big deal for a lot of people. But I’m stiff & twisting around hurts, which is why I wanted a messager. It does do a great job but not for a small area like side of neck. ... show more

I really like a lot of the things about this- I’m a pain patient, and while it can’t help with my source pain, it does help immensely with the pain you get when you tense up for long periods of time (if you have long term pain or an injury elsewhere). I’ve tried some different style ones, and I’d say this one is the closest to a massage from a person- which was perfect for me as my back is just a collection of pain filled knots lol, so I’d probably have to employ a masseuse full time…luckily this was a much cheaper option 😂. I was a little worried about how long it would last- some of the ones amazon has in the $30 range, people complained of them only lasting a few months, So I shelled out for this one and I’ve had no problems in the last year with moderate use.. I did buy the insurance though, which isn’t a bad idea if you plan to use this a very long time or heavily. Battery life is great- I’ve literally had it die, and recharged it for 5 min and it was able to go another 20 mins. Just don’t leave it charging overnight or for long periods (an hour+) to keep the battery in good condition. Major lifesaver. This is a little awkward to position if you’re massaging other back areas besides neck/spine but that gets easier with practice and is well worth it! Ok some tips for the best experience- this will automatically turn off after 15 min, which they do bc if you go over 15 while massaging the same spot, it can actually do more harm than good (and cause some extra not fun soreness), in fact, you want to be sure and rotate it in different areas over the 15 min- not staying in the same spot too long. As long as you’re rotating it, I’ve had no problems using this for multiple sessions (for over an hour or more). Even if you’re specifically targeting one area, trust me the areas around it will also need some loosening. Second, keep in mind these are not a human hand which are softer and have some give, but hard plastic balls, so you don’t want to lean back on it heavily or put firm pressure on an area like you might in an actual massage; If it’s hurting (and not just a minor ache) I’ll lean forward and pull it away a little to reduce the pressure and gradually work up to the regular or firm pressure. Likewise it wouldn’t be good to lay on it or even recline too far back- not only would you hurt yourself, but it’s also hard on the massager and will increase the likelihood of it breaking prematurely. If you follow these guidelines, I think you’ll be very happy with the results. And just as some general advice from someone who’s dealt with pain for a VERY long time- don’t just massage your neck (if that’s what’s hurting) find the sharp pain filled knots in your back or shoulders that are also contributing to your pain, you’ll get 5 times the pain relief. For instance when my shoulder joint is hurting, I get the most pain relief by massaging the little knot underneath my shoulder blade, the knot on my side under my arm pit or the one an inch from my spine below my neck etc (well you get the idea!) 🤷🏻♀️. Find all the source knots and you will kick your pain’s butt…Snailax style. Anyways I hope this helps you as much as it helps me! ... show more

I Have used a corded massager before no real complaints, but you do not know joy until you go cord free!! It's amazing to have a great massage with Heat any where without being attached to a plug in.
