Also I have been using it to make oat flour from rolled oats. Much cheaper then buying in store. Easy to clean and the extra cup makes it very convenient to make multiply smoothies. Wanted a blender for smoothies and this one does the job. I’ve made two fruit smoothies so far and they weren’t bad! The blender’s easy to use and so far, works well. It doesn’t take up a lot of space which is good and I think has a little under 30oz that the blender cups hold. So it’s good for my smoothie/drinks. I like that it comes with an extra “cup” and lids to use so you can make a drink(or whatever you want), pop on the lid and go! ... show more

This smoothie blender mixes my protein shakes perfectly and does so much more. I use it for frozen and fresh fruits and it blends them perfectly smooth. The quality is great and has a strong motor that never bogs down. It comes with 2 cups which is great for making multiple smoothies. If you want to make a smoothie or frozen beverage quickly this summer, get you one of these Lampick personal blenders. I was very impressed with just how easy this blender is to use. Per the instruction book, I washed out everything before using for the first time. Next, I put a banana, frozen strawberries, a scoop of Greek yogurt and some peach & pineapple juice in the tumbler. I screwed on the blender blades, then flipped it over and placed it in the home base. I pressed down on the top of the tumbler and the blender started up. About 15-20 seconds later (literally) my smoothy was ready to be consumed. I replaced the blender blades with the tumbler cap and went to take a drink. However, the tumbler lid is not very well designed for drinking. That is, the pop-top lid does not even lift up to 90 degrees, which means it is basically sticking straight up and you can't bring the drinking hole up to you mouth without poking you eyes or bumping you nose. I did manage to get a few good sips by holding the tumbler to that the lid rested on my cheek before I just abandoned using the top. The top does work well, though, to securely lock contents inside the tumbler and keep it fresh. After enjoying some drinks, the clean up was also extremely easy. I put a drop of soap and some water in the tumbler and twisted the blades back on. A few pulses on the base and they were well washed. I then hand washed and rinsed everything (except the base). Lastly, I really like the size of this blender. I have a full size blender which used to stay out on the counter all the time. It has now been stored away and this little Lampick blender has taken its place. We only break out the big blender when were make a big bunch of drinks or a batch of homemade hot salsa. ... show more

This single serve blender works really well. The instructions say to blend for a minute, give it a break, then continue blending if needed. It helps avoid the motor overheating. We have not had that problem. My kids have used this a lot and find that it blends everything pretty well, in under a minute. For the size, it is not overly loud which is nice for making a protein shake in the morning and not being obnoxious about it. It comes with two cups, two lids and the blades for mixing. We have put ice, no problem there. The blades look small so I was surprised when it had no problem pureeing stuff very well. The cups are pretty big too. I have another brand blender and the individual cups are much smaller. These cups will serve two, easily. It’s also convenient for cleaning because I can get my hand all the way in and to the bottom. I think this blender would make an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys making own smoothies and protein shakes. We are going to try out milkshakes next. Be aware, they recommend cutting your fruit or other ingredients up, small, so the blender is more effective. We have done this but not every single time. So far, we have found that it still mixed everything very well and if you keep going, you will liquify your ingredients. I've used this to whip cream, reconstitute powdered milk, and make smoothies. I own both a Magic Bullet and a Blendtec, and here is how this one stacks up: 1) Cup size: The cup is larger than the Magic Bullet cups, and only comes with the one size. It is so tall it doesn't fit in the top rack of the dishwasher. Sometimes you want just a little cup, but not a big deal. 2) Power: It ripped into my frozen fruit really quickly. I did have to stop and shake once or twice, but no more than with Magic Bullet. It may be quicker than the Magic Bullet, certainly not slower. 3) Fineness of the blend: My kale disappeared completely, which Magic Bullet can't do. However, it did NOT blend my whole flaxseed, but neither does Magic Bullet. Only my Blendtec can do that. 4) On/off: Where Magic Bullet allows you to turn the cup to lock it into "on" I can't see a way for this to do that. You just have to hold it down. Not a big deal because it blends really quickly. 5) Easy of cleaning: Slightly harder to get your stuff out of the blades than Magic Bullet because there are six rather than four. ... show more
