The scooter does what it say it does. I rode it around the neighborhood, going to store short trips. The battery life is what is expected and charging the scooter did not take long. The scooter is light and easy to carry. I think that locking mechanism is a little stiff. The scooter no suspension so unless you are going over a very smooth surface you feel everything. If you don't mind that and cost is a factor I recommend this scooter. For my personal taste I have another scooter that has suspension and that what I prefer. ... show more

I bought this used for $205. Compared to new ones in the $250 range, this one is on par. So the fact that it is $440 or so new doesn't mean much. The max speed is 15.6, which it attains (or reads that it does). Going uphill is a strain, but can get up to 10 on a moderate hill. My units battery life was 50% after 5 miles at full speed. With the battery life years, you could probably expect 6-7 tops at full speed at 50%. I had to return because Amazon provides no support and I emailed the manufacturer and after over a week received no reply. It came with no charger, missing hardware to attach the handles to the body, and a very loud annoying rattle out of the tail. I could not find any specifications online for which charger or bolts to buy, but ended up getting the correct charger. If anyone needs a charger, it is a basic ninebot charger with a single pin. ... show more

Original post: Still less than 180 days from purchase today- charged for use for first time 2 days ago- turned on with error code “E1”-reached out by website chat, fb message (immediately) and email today…no resolution to the problem yet. Standing by for response, but wanted it noted they were notified prior to the expiration of 180 day warranty. Will adjust review once issue corrected or money refunded. I ordered this electric scooter for myself just to have some fun and my 10 year old grandson begged to ride it. I was fearful that the scooter was too much for him to handle. He is tall for his age but on the thin side and yet he handled this scooter like he had been riding one for years. PROS: - Airless tires (non-pneumatic tires) This is a nice scooter and we are riding on our asphalt bumpy street with a cul de sac. Personally I like the airless tires (non-pneumatic tires) which will ride rougher than air tires but I would rather not have to worry about the tires needing air. Love the 10 inch tires as they make it look like an adult scooter and not a kids scooter which has the smaller tires. - Long battery life - 350 Watt Brushless Motor - Top speed is 20 mph as tested and my grandson loves this we live in a rural area so there are plenty of safe roads to ride this on - One battery charge gets you 28 miles but we have never let it run down that far but to test he got it up to almost 26 miles of use on one charge and the battery indicator still had some energy left. - The battery per the instructions should yield 7 years of service - The battery type is a car graded battery - 21700 Power Battery - Maximum load capacity is 220 lbs (my 6 foot 270 pound professional weight lifter son road it just to try it and it carried him with no problem) - The scooter has the ability to charge from your cell phone (10W fast charging Type-C reverse charging - cell phone as to be capable of doing so) should you run out of power, to charge like this takes about an hour - If you suspect you will run low on power, carry a small power bank with you - SmooSat APP works great and you can see the status of your scooter in real time and you can update your scooters software using the app, although we do not have a need to use the APP at this time - Cruise control works great and my grandson uses the cruise control - Strong kick stand CONS: - Hard to fold down the handle bar for storage. ... show more
