Feels very cheap, low quality and of course the pink one is the most expensive. Stop catering toward “pink tax”. If you’re going to make it ~$11 more expensive than the green one at least make it a quality product. Garbage.

If I had this thermometer 10 years ago I would think it was fantastic. But instant read, kitchen thermometers have come a long way in that time. I have three kitchens where I cook. I use a thermometer every time I cook meat on the stove, in the oven, or on the grill. Medium rare every time with no estimating. I am familiar with the different models. This is the 6th one I bought in 5 years. It is the lowest quality, yet not the lowest cost. The LCD screen is backlit which is great for reading at the grill at night. But the digits are small. The magnet is useful to attach it to a side (unheated) shelf on the grill. It keeps it from falling onto the concrete when you move plates and the big spatula around. This magnet is the weakest of the bunch. THE WORST PART: it takes over 10 seconds to read the temperature from room temperature - just watch the number go higher and higher like playing a slot machine! It's faster when you go between different cuts of meat that are all at similar temperatures. But in 2022 it should take about 5 seconds to read. I would say it's worth about $12. Read test reviews on the web for much better thermometers at this price. ... show more
