I bought 3 of these over the door hampers, and was shocked at the inconsistency. First off, only 1 of the 3 hampers that I ordered was actually the same as pictured on Amazon. The other two were completely different products—one was a smaller white hamper with a very different design, and the other was a small black hamper that was Walmart's store brand (Mainstays). So 3 hampers, 2 different sizes, and 2 different colors; none of them match each other at all. The one hamper that actually matched the image on Amazon works well and I like it, but it seems like work needs to be done to make sure people are actually getting the item they paid for. ... show more

It's flimsy and doesn't have too much volume capacity, but fair enough for the price and enough to get the job done. However the key feature of this hanging hamper just doesn't work out. The plastic hook's entire mould is pretty thick, which at first I saw as a postive but its way too thick to fit the margin at the top of the door. You'd have to sand the plastic down a fair bit if you want an average-fit door to be able to close. So the hamper is just in the corner of my room instead.. And its not meant as a standing hamper obviously. ... show more

Original (October 2018): Great for use behind a door. Its out of the way & out of sight, but easy to use. Has a convenient zipper at the bottom too (even though I have not actually used this function it seems helpful). Updated: (January 2020) Using this for towels & it's still in the same condition as when I bought it. Highly recommend, especially for the price. It is not as big as I originally thought, but it holds atleast 4 or 5 body sized towels with multiple face & hand towels. ... show more

I had to purchase another laundry bag to replace this one. It bounces the door back if I open the door. The design is flawless and sticks out too much so when it touches the wall it bounces back. On the plus side, it does hold a lot of clothes. If you are looking for a laundry basket to hang on a door that opens and closes do not buy this one! My 1.5yr old and 3.5 year old each have one hanging on the back of their door. I love this for a couple reasons... 1. My 3.5yr old has fun putting his dirty clothes in his hamper, he makes it a game. 2. All I have to do is walk up to it, put my big laundry basket under it (during laundry day), unzip and BOOM...clothes fall in effortlessly. 3. I love these bags. I've tried a bunch of other designs but they are awkward to carry, the plastic poles won't stay inserted, the wires come out. These are the perfect size to fit over my door, and are easy to carry to the car & laundromat. They last a long time, too.
