We loved the size of the mat. We didnt want anything to big for our Netherland Dwarf rabbit. He has moved the mat around a couple of times but mostly we see him go to it when he is resting. My guinea pig loves these. I bought 5 of them so he'll always have a clean one available. They're super soft and comfy. However, they do not keep shape after washing and drying. They're still soft and cozy, but the insides thin out a bit at one end, and are thicker at the other. I shake them out trying to get an even amount of pillow stuffing through out, but they still don't go back into perfect shape. Doesn't really matter because he still loves them and they're still really soft. They clean easy is the wash. I'm lucky my guinea pig doesn't go to the bathroom on his or I wouldn't be using the washer or dryer. I think if you want to keep the beds in tact you should probably handwash and hang dry. Just buy a few, that way your animal always has a clean bed. I added photos so you can see how out of shape they get. Still comfy and he loves them, but they look worn out. They come in pink and light blue. They just send you a random color. I have 2 pinks and 3 blue ones ... show more

These pads are very thick and soft. If you have one of FLAdorepet's soft hutches, like the strawberry one, the medium size works well as replacement pads, which is why I purchased them. What a relief it is to have several pads so I'm not doing laundry every day. Guinea pigs are NOT tidy. The pads are an inch longer on one dimension but that doesn't create any problems. In fact it's probably better for making sure the piggy doesn't create a gap if he rearranges things. These pads are three times as thick as the pads that come with the hutches (and those were pretty thick) so we won't need a towel under them for extra insulation from the cold tile floor. They're reversible, with soft fleece on both sides. I replaced the pads on both hutches and it took Charlie five minutes nip into one and start napping. I haven't washed them yet. I'll add to this review when I do but I expect they'll wash every bit as well as the hutches themselves. Shipping took a few weeks, since they come from China, but they were well worth the wait. Charlie is one happy pigling and I continue to be impressed by the products and service offered by this company. ***After Washing*** -- I have five of these pads and every one of them has been through the washer at least twice. The only issue I've had is with the stuffing on one side of one of the pads. It got a little thin. But I discovered I can work the stuffing back into the thin area, so it's all good. ***Two years later***-- I'm still using all five of these pads. I couldn't count the number of times they've been washed. They still come out as clean as the day I received them. Sometimes the padding thins out a bit on one side but never disappears entirely. Even the thinner side is still an inch thick and, short of filling them with down, I don't think there's anything better (or even as good) on the market. I purchased these for my guinea pigs over a year ago and they are still my favorites and holding up well. The hay and poop doesn't stick to them as much as other brands and I wash them frequently but they still have held up well! Not one of them has had seams rip or come apart and their my guinea pigs favorite place to lay. Some of the stuffing gets moved around inside after washing but I easily move it back so one side is not flat. I have bought more of these to rotate when I'm washing the others because they work great! ... show more

These are perfect little beds for tiny animals. I'm using them for a 3lb puppy and it is great. She LOVES it and when she soils it, I rinse it well in the sink and toss in the washing machine and then dryer on low. The only thing is the whole "random color" issue. I ordered 3 (not on the same order) and I got 1 green and 2 blue. I was hoping at the very least for 3 different colors, preferably none blue, but I knew it was a gamble. I think the price should be lower simply for lack of option to choose the color. Please note that the beds are not the print that is pictured.
