I’ve been skidding 17’ fresh cut pines up to 28” diameter-no bending or distortion. The points are razor sharp, bite well into the trees. Also carrying the stumps with 48” base x 36” high with no problems. FYI if you’re new at this make sure your chain strength doesn’t exceed your 3 point rating. Very heavy skidding tong, looks to be made of 1" or more steal with 3/4" ring but they arrived warped. I tried to use them anyway but they would not grasp the log since the points were not lining up. I might try to repurchase and see if I have better luck with the next.
