This portable, affordable and adorable crafting system designed for detailed (plastic backed or wafer-thin) dies and embossing folders up to 2.5 inches wide, including Sizzix 12 inch Decorative Strip dies. The Sidekick will cut a single sheet of lightweight to cardstock paper. Aqua cutting pads and embossing pad makes all Sizzix thin dies and embossing folders up to 2.5 inches compatible and works with other brands' dies.This small roller machine weighs 2 pounds, stands 4.75 inches tall and features a three-year limited warranty. This package contains one Sidekick machine, six Framelits dies, two Thinlits dies, two small Textured Impressions embossing folders and seven stamps. WARNING: Choking Hazard, small parts. Imported.

It is SMALL! But, that is what you want. It fits most word dies and butterfly, dragonfly and stuff like that. It is only 2.5 inches wide, so small dies fit fine. I love it because of its size. Some people said it was too small, but if you know what to expect you won't be surprised by that. It is so portable and nice to bring with to card making parties! I would highly recommend this item. I did try a different one first and it would not cut. This one has no problem cutting any of my dies I have tried in it. It will leave marks on the plates, but that is normal. I opened the box the minute it arrived so I could try this out. The Sidekick is so easy to operate that I was using it within minutes! This kit is such a great way to start since it includes not only the machine but also a set of 8 dies, two embossing folders, and set of 7 stamps. With this one purchase, I have what I need to get started making cards! Note that this is a SMALL machine meant for small projects (perfect for greeting cards). If you are looking for something to cut or emboss for larger projects, you'll need a larger machine. Be sure to read the product description and size specs. This machine is perfect for running through small sets of metal letters and other small die cuts. One negative is the suction doesn’t grip on my white craft table which is I believe made from plastic type material .

I’m very disappointed I put a die cut through and now the bottom is falling apart. I know it’s a smaller machine but the die cut I put through was small. It should not be falling apart. I had one before and didn’t do that.

I’m loving my Sidekick! I can stay seated when I need to pop out a label, tag, or small die cut for the card I’m making—exactly what I’d hoped for! It’s easy to use and just the right size. My only complaint is that the suction cup doesn’t keep the machine attached to my desk, so I have to reattach it pretty often. Not a deal breaker by any means. ... show more
