So far everything with this deck is great. I knew from my last deck in a different vehicle that I needed the 8 core version and I was definitely right because this deck is much much faster and responsive compared to the older 4 core I had. Next is customer support that was non existant with other Android decks, I actually got fast quick responses with great additional information. I actually couldn't be happier with this purchase. The Android auto works wirelessly. That feature alone cost $1000 in other decks. The offline maps even works near flawless. Shuts down on its own, mutes on its own and touch screen locks up. Wish I could get a a hold of someone to send a replacement unit. Update, they are working with me and we are trying to recalibrate the unit. Send to be working so far but only did a test run. The media could not be loaded. Oddly enough, I had a niche desire to install a head unit in my tractor cab. The slot was above in the ceiling, and so normally would only take a single DIN height. The fact this is adjustable vertically and can swivel vertical horizontal made it perfect! This looks fantastic in my Kioti CX2510. I actually installed a switch to turn on the rear camera easily, as if in reverse gear. It's positioned for perfect view of the 3-pt hitch. Pros: Flexible installation, screen can go all over the place and stays in place well. Quickly starts up from stand-by. Sounds great and can be loud enough to hear from a diesel engine and brushhog in a cab. Wireless Android Auto and wireless Carplay both work great for me. Barely any lag and autoconnects when turned on. Can install Spotify right on the device with offline library, great for no phone. Screen looks great, IPS and sharp touch response. Additional video options for potential of a better loader view from top of cab. Very snappy, though I bought the 2GB RAM - saw some bad reviews on speed but it was the 1GB. Cons: I've tried to email support to no responses. The only way I can get help is by posting a question on the product page. Luckily someone replied each time to that. Docked a star for this. Gets a little toasty, but hasn't caused an issue yet. To Note: There's a SIM slot on the unit and on one of the cables. I couldn't get the cable slot to work, and from the unit, my TMobile SIM would show but never get signal. It's not advertised so I don't mark against this, but could be sweet of it works for someone. No SD card but can use mass storage device on one of the USB cables. While support is limited, the product itself is fantastic - hopefully it keeps up and works for a long while. No regret with this as all! ... show more

Update: The seller gave me the files I needed to update the firmware and after that, the wireless connection stability (and the UI) has improved. Screen is bright and big enough. I think it's an amazing value. -- Original review -- The unit runs on android, and the included "Carplay 2.0" app is what allows you to use android auto (AA). When you open the app, it will display a screen that says something like "waiting for device to be connected". Then if you plug in your phone via USB it will say connecting and eventually switch to AA. If you have your phone plugged in and it *still* says "waiting to connect", then you need to unplug it and plug it back in. If you want to connect to AA wirelessly, you need to connect to the Bluetooth device called "SYU-Android", input the pairing code "0000", and if you are fortunate, it will just work, but in my experience it is very flaky. AA wireless works by connecting to your phone via wifi. You need to connect to the Bluetooth first because the app will send the network credentials to your phone over that Bluetooth connection, and then your phone should automatically connect to the AA wifi (called something like "CarLinkAP206"), and AA should start. It doesn't always work for me, and there are a couple different ways in which it fails for me, so here are the situations I run into and how to deal with them: Q: "I connected to the SYU-Android, but I don't even see the CarLinkAP206 wifi in my wifi list" A: The wifi wont show up until the app has connected to your phone with the bluetooth, and sometimes it doesn't recognize that it already did, so you can try: disconnecting and reconnecting to SYU-Android, opening and closing the carplay app, and restarting the radio from the dropdown menu. Q: "I saw android auto come up for a split second, but it went right back to the normal screen right after!" A: This means that your phone probably connected correctly to the AA wifi, but for some reason the app is failing to display android auto interface. I would close the carplay app then reopen it, disconnect from the AA wifi manually, and then disconnect and reconnect to SYU-Android. In my experience, right before it finally connects correctly my phone displays a message saying "Is it okay to connect to CarLinkAP206?" and if I miss that prompt then it will show android auto for a split second before going back to the connection screen. TO THE SELLERS: Carplay 2.0 app needs an update. It needs a button that attempts to connect again, and it needs error messages that happen when it fails to connect for some reason. If you can add those features I will change my rating to 5 stars ... show more

Screen died all of a sudden after a years worth of use. But I contacted the seller and they were quick to respond and sent me a replacement screen. This is an excellent head unit and the seller is responsive and went above and beyond what they needed to do to fix the problem. Highly recommended.

    • Only lasted a year
Mine only lasted a year before issues became so bad it's unusable now. It worked well for the price until recently only minor issues with wireless Apple car play connectivity the first year. Now the backup camera and sound are working intermittently and my phone only connects wirelessly once maybe every ten times I restart the system. Also it will no reboot from the screen anymore I have to press the tiny restart button with a paper clip. I would recommend paying more for a quality head unit that will last longer. ... show more
