I’m not gonna lie, I ordered this on prime day cause it was mad cheap. I wanted to spruce up my Miata a bit, add some CarPlay functionality and a backup camera - you know, bring that thang into the 21st century. I was not disappointed. The install was fairly easy, and the backup camera I had to get a little creative with but it all works pretty good! The touchscreen is very responsive even tho it FEELS cheap, and the display works well. The only thing I notice is when compared to a modern car with a CarPlay radio, it doesn’t feel as smooth. Only way I can describe it is this radio runs at 60hz and a modern one runs at, say, 90hz. All in all I love it, it works great and functions great! 5/5 ... show more

Not a good radio. Doesn’t keep memory of channels and built in microphone isn’t audible to the listener on the phone. Loses channels programmed seems every other day. Am functions turns off every time stop engine Have to change band to and from fm to am to get am to work. Much more etc!

I installed this headunit in a 1999 Chevy Silverado. I needed a Single Din unit because 99-02 Chevys use a single din radio cage and I didn't want to swap anything in from a later year (double din), but i still wanted touchscreen and CarPlay. This unit knocks it out the park with its built in wired CarPlay. Easily alone worth the money. Sound quality is significantly better than stock radio unit. Overall very happy. ... show more

It was fairly easy to install. I had to buy a bracket and make modifications to it because dodge Dakotas and durangos have the silliest factory radios. But other than that it wasn’t too bad. The backup camera was easy to install as well however, it stopped working after a while. I checked my connections and they are all solid, it just doesn’t project to the screen that well. Apple CarPlay does work when the phone is connected. Bluetooth works very well. The am/fm radio doesn’t work too well, factory radio worked perfect with the factory antennae, but this radio must not like it or something. I did have a few issues with it in the beginning. It would randomly malfunction and the touch screen wouldn’t work and the sound would not come out but it does have a reset button and it hasn’t malfunctioned in a good 8 months. Overall it’s a nice little radio. Oh and the sliding function works pretty well. ... show more

I installed on my 99 f150 and i had to pull the radio out of the hole a little bit because of the design of the dash but it fits and looks good.I don’t know the long term of the radio but for the price you can’t beat it, I was super impressed. I gave this radio 3 stars which I don't to do, but consumers need to know that my radio sometimes stop playing out of nowhere. Sometimes I turn it while I'm driving and turn it back on it still doesn't work. The only way I can fix the problem is by turning the vehicle completely off. Maybe someone else's radio works perfectly, however mine don't. Additionally, the volume knob sometimes has a delay on it. Meaning that it doesn't increase the volume when I turn the knob to do so. ... show more

This thing is great CarPlay ,bluetooth,screen mirror all work great and the reverse camera witch is about the only reason I purchased it {for hooking up my trailer} is perfect ! I do not know about the radio part as I do not have an antenna on my truck I only use Pandora and iheart. I paired it with a small amp , subwoofer and acouple 6x9s. Not the best in the world but if your on a budget this thing is AWESOME!!!! ... show more

I will state the good first. This unit is nice. The screen u manually pull out. The GPS function is great once u plug it to your phone and play music as well. You can set background when u turn it on like Ford emblem, Ferrari and many more. The sound is actually good. My last unit had a slight whine in the system, this unit almost not noticeable. Its actually a nice unit but right out of the box. The output to my subs didn't function properly. I had to turn volume completely up to get some bass. Interior hit clean with minimal distortion at high volume. Then one issue right out the box, the reverse function wouldn't not AUTOMATICALLY kick on. I could turn it to AV1 and get rear camera to work so it was wired properly. Then today 09/19/2022. I had the unit 6 days, but installed for 4 days. While driving the screen just went black, still playing audio and main unit still lit up, but screen is dead. I got customer assistance and getting another unit for replacement. Great on that part but upsetting this happened. I see some people have not had good luck and others successful. Ill give it 1 more shot and I will update in a week if it last that long. Other than buy at your own risk. Its great for the value just my trust has been lost, I will give it a 2nd chance but I really do like the unit. 09-21-2022 (update) So I received a 2nd unit to replace my old one. Well this was worse didn't last 5 minutes after install. Still no audio output to sub amplifier. I even connected my out stereo to verify and it was immediately thumping. Therefore not wiring issue. Still no reverse function with camera. I went to check if it would work in AV1 like my last unit and thats when it failed. Nothing showed up on screen and I would no longer leave that mode. Literally was froze. Unit would not turn off manually. So at this point I call this stereo unit a bust. Luckily my old unit works just doesn't have any cool feature like Bluetooth because its from 2006 and still working fine just wanted something fresh and new updated to modern times.
