I selected several items to match for a room, and this was the central one. I like the design and how it allows me to select which side I want to put items and organize the cords. The barn door style slide is also a nice feature as I don't have to prop open a door or leave it open when and item is in use. Take for example if you have an xbox and have it behind the sliding barn door, I simply slide the door to allow air flow where the xbox is in use. When it is all done I can slide it close to obscure the device. The entertainment center was easy to put together, though I did not have any power tools and which I had used one to save my hands. I'm sure my significant other could have put this together in half the time that I did as he is super fast at this stuff. He wasn't around and I wanted to put it together so it was a day project and I ended up with a few blisters on my hands. I am happy with the work I did and it is quite sturdy. The TV we have is mounted on the wall. The listing states that it can "accommodate" and "robustness and endurance against prolonged use and heavy loads". I assume they mean for putting a tv on the top of this. I love not having a tv tied to this stand for many reasons, the first being I can move the entertainment stand to clean behind it. The second reason I would never use the stand with a tv on top is that I have big dogs and if they bump this thing that tv would fall. The third part is that tv is very heavy and had to mount it with special bracket to the wall in a stud to accommodate the weight. I cant speak to if this entertainment center can truly handle the weight of the tv as I have not put anything as heavy as a tv on top of here. My other items are distributed evenly with the heaviest being the control for a sound system and that is about 20 pounds. Overall, this is a solid 5 star for all the other features and ease of putting it together. I knew I had to put it together when I purchased this. Just for comparison, if you bought something like this from a furniture store, they would charge you an insane price and not tell you that it was because they put it together and mostly likely ordered it from a store just like this. Product came in 2 different boxes about 3 days apart. Packaged very well and there was no damage to any of the pieces. It took me and my husband about 2 or 3 hours to put together. It was easy to follow directions but there were a lot of pieces and steps. Someone mentioned in the review to reverse steps 11 and 12 and this helped A LOT! I don't know why they listed step 11 first but we took the other reviewers advice and did step 12 first and it saved us a lot of work, frustration, time and possibly damaged pieces. So I also recommend swapping those 2 steps. I love the height and size of this. It's very tall and large and holds our 65" TV with no problems. It's very sturdy. Love the color and design on this tv stand. We purchased this after we needed a tv stand tall enough that my toddler would stop banging on our tv. I will say I was shocked about the quality. Super study and heavy. After we assembled it are super happy with our purchase. I will say assemble this when you have the time and patients. It took us a good amount of time to put together. Delivery: This item came in 2 different boxes. The first one came two days early and the second came 3 days later. Great communication from the seller. It was packaged very well. There was a pretty good gash/scratch in the first box and led to the very top shelf being damaged. The decorative front edge had fallen off. I do a lot of woodworking as a hobby, so I was able to use wood glue and clamps to secure it back on. Then I used screws to make sure it stayed in place. The boxes a VERY heavy so make sure you have a second person to help. Assembly: The assembly was frustrating at times but manageable. The step by step instructions are decent to follow. Not sure who wrote them because it seems a bit out of order but I will say if you are assembling it by yourself, you may be able to read the next step in the instructions to make it a little easier. Just take your time. If you are assembling with two people, you shouldn't have any issues. Overall, this is a great product and once it is fully assembled, it looks great! I have a 75" TV on it and it fits perfect I think. It is very heavy once assembled so make sure you put it together near the place you want it to go. Very solid stand. ... show more

Everything came together nicely and everything seemed wobbly until we put the back on and now it’s flat and doesn’t move at all! Was very skeptical at first but it came through! Very beautiful lists of space does not look cheap and stays clean! I have a little one so it’s important to be durable because he does play by it. Great price and a sleek look ! ... show more
