  • Thing is great
Style: Electric 120V
It's not a landa or a hotsey but for 120v this thing surpassed my expectations it's a solid tool and is worth it

  • This thing is a BEAST!
Style: CRX420
The Simpson KB65132 is a beast of a pressure washer. Any oil spills, auto part, or concrete doesn't stand a chance against the 200F water this produces. This isn't a small machine nor is it cheap but you get what you pay for and this thing is worth every penny.

  • Great machine
Style: CRX420
First one came damaged and they shipped another one right out. I recommend Welding gloves or something very thick to protect you from the heat. With heat this thing has no problem stripping paint off a car to bare metal. Starts easy runs great

  • The Difference Between Hot and Cold
Style: Electric 120V
Love this product for removing grease and oil from my equipment. The ease of cleaning with HOT is like night and day. This machine is well made, I've had no problems at all. I also like the Simpson company. I had a question from the owner's manual and the General Sales Manager took the time to answer my question, right away, and he knows his onions. I am completely satisfied and glad I purchased this little Simpson hot washer. ... show more

I was informed by Simpson if bought thru Amazon there is no warranty. Simpson wants over $200.00 for the GFI plug that never worked in the first place.

  • Poor engineering...
Style: Electric 120V
PACKING - The cleaner arrives crated on a pallet, which is the way it should be. Unfortunately, there is a very light cardboard box on top of the pallet. The shipping would gain by either plain removing the unsuitable box or by crating it the proper way, with plywood. The first machine arrived damaged at the carrier's center who called me. They returned it to the factory. The second machine arrived with the surrounding box all torn and in a small van. This is heavy and we had to literally drop it off the vehicle to use a hand truck. Not suitable. I suggest a regular carrier with a loading deck or a forklift. SEE ADDENDUM FROM May 2014 below... INSTRUCTIONS - The owner's manual warned about the washer containing some anti-freeze solution, which it did not. It also shows older pictures not representing the actual machine. I found that annoying. You need however to purge the chemical injection line as it is full of gunk. USAGE - The machine started flawlessly both on the HP cleaner and the burner. I used road diesel, always have. LEAKAGE - The water connection did not leak. There is a label near the fuel tank stating that the level of fuel should not go over the lowest part of the pipe. Even with that, the plug leaks when you move the machine, as it has to be tilted to the back, applying pressure on the plug. This leaves a very unpleasant trail of fuel on the floor. SUMMARY - This is a good machine with major engineering flaws. It should be extremely easy for the manufacturer to fix. I am sure that they are aware of the problems. ADDED on May 21, 2014 : This machine is very poorly designed for transportation. The diesel leak is not getting any better and diesel gas spillage stains and stinks. It is very heavy and the leverage on the handle is insufficient for the average person to allow for an easy move from places to places. I-M-P-O-R-T-A-N-T : While moving the machine from the garage to where it was to be used, I noticed that the burner unit was loose. The three strong bolts holding the burner unit to the frame were tight. I was shocked to discover that the very heavy burner unit is only secured to the frame by three small drilling screws holding only through the sheet metal. All three screws were loose and one of them was actually in a hole about 3 times larger that its size and about 1" away from the pre-drilled hole in the strong base. This is some engineering ! Consider flying in an Airbus whose engines are attached with plastic bolts. What were they thinking ? SUMMARY : The machine works well and I am going to fix the problems. I should not have to do that. If I were today on the market for this type of machine, I would wait though for the manufacturer to remove the flaws. ... show more

  • Good unit, Great value.
Style: Electric 120V
Great unit for the price. Few small quality/fit and finish issues, but when the competition is at least 2.5x the price, I guess I can't complain.
