This is a very nice washer. That being said not shire it’s a $675.00 with tax pressure washer but time will tell. The good started on the first pull. And did a good job on my driveway ran two tanks of gas though it about 4 hours running time. Nice power and engine ran smoothly. I did jump up to a 3/8 x 50 foot hose did not use the 5/16 hose that came with it. So I can’t say anything about it. Used a survive cleaner and a longer wand extension the one that comes with it is only about 13 inches long. So all in all with new hose and wand extension I have about $750 in this thing. The bad it moves all over the place on the driveway when it’s running so I put a old door Matt under it and it did stay put on the Matt so keep that in mind if you buy this thing you’re going to need some extra things too make it a little more useable. Also I used Honda oil in the engine instead of the oil that comes with it it’s a lot smaller than it looks in the picture and it’s not very heavy at all with the aluminum frame. So if you’re like me the size helps to store it as space is a problem with only a too car garage. I hope that it grows on me more as I use it. I do like it but I don’t love it for what I paid if that makes sense. ... show more

I was done with buying a pressure washer and having it die after 2 or 3 years. After checking on all the reviews, I went with this one. The Honda engine was a huge selling point for me. I have the same engine on my log splitter and it works like a champ every single time. Everything about this sprayer is great. Like all sprayers, what to do with the hose when you're done can be a pain, but it's fine. The location of the nozzles is good. I wish they had a couple of extra holes to place additional nozzles that I bought. The only negative thing might be the handle. I wish it was a few inches taller so I didn't have to bend as much. I have a really bad back and that would be an added plus, but overall, it isn't anything more than a minor issue. I can live with it lol The delivery by Amazon was the biggest negative. I gave explicit instructions to leave the box inside the man-door of the garage. Instead, the huge box truck backed down the driveway to the end of the garage and left it outside the garage bay door under the roof. This caused the box to get soaked because it rained. They just needed to back the truck up another 20' and they could have opened the door and plopped it inside. ... show more

Not much used but lost a rubber foot. The one that remained has a stripped pem nut. I had to remove both pem nuts So I got two 1/4 x 20 x2 inches, stainless steel, bought new feet pads and nylon locking washers, drilled two 1/4 inch holes, all set now. Some quality issues at Simpson, why do I need to do this!? Very little use, please notch up your quality. ... show more

First off I want to say I was hesitant about buying this pressure washer from Simpson or any other model they had from Amazon based on reviews that showed damage during shipping. When I got my box I was happy to see that there was no exterior visual damage, and secondly, when I opened it, the equipment was well protected with the expanding foam. The unit arrived flawless. Note I just got the machine. Assembly was very easy, maybe 10 minutes tops putting everything together, connecting hoses, and going over the frame and feet with tools to make sure everything is tight. After assembly I went through the set up process before actually starting the unit. I ran water through the pump for about 5 minutes to make sure all the air was out of the line and pump. Put in the supplied oil, then fuel. Started on the second pull and ran it for about an hour of washing. I know it’s brand new, but I am really pleased with my purchase. The good: The engine and pump are excellent. Expect considerable kickback when you first pull the trigger. I expect this machine to outlive me. The bad: 1. Lousy hose. It's stiff PVC, not rubber. It doesn't coil or uncoil well. Ungainly to work with. Frustrating because I paid for this better model because is sounded like it had a better hose. It's junk. Gotta buy a rubber hose. 2. Handle is too low. I had to put 3' vertical extensions on the bars to raise the handle. This thing was designed for little people. 3. Pressure adjust knob is awkwardly placed between the muffler (HOT!) and the vertical bar to the handle. Could have been better designed. Hard to reach without burning your hand. 4. No quick disconnect fittings. Wand and hoses are all threaded, making them difficult to exchange. Further, it is impossible to wrap up the stiff hose with the wand attached. ... show more

Really powerful, I had to brace myself to use it on a ladder, it actually kicks back. Really fast to unload and set up and it's made from quality materials that look good and work well. I'm hoping is does as well as my 24 year old Sears power washer that I died this summer. The seal blew on the pump, but i ran it and ran it for years. It started on the second pull after 20 years, it was awesome. I wanted to spend less, but honestly, you are not going to find a quality machine for $500. You get what you pay for, I buy things to last. My chain saw was purchased in 1993, My weed wacker 2000, both are Stihl. Stihl doesn't make a power washer so I chose this one after researching it for 3 months. So far, so good. I'll amend this after a Summer of use and then after a few years of use. ... show more
