It took a bit to out it together u do have to add ur own holes for like a step but it was easy. and the heater worked perfect at first it shut off right when I put it on but after we set it to timer and temp it worked fine :)

Lot of parts, but the instructions were clear and very easy to follow - my wife and I had it completed in one night without issue or arguement, lol. It looks great! This 69 year old arthritic women assembled this beautiful fireplace over a period of two days using only a Phillips head screwdriver! Although the instructions are pictures only, they were easy to follow. I most definitely took my time but I'm very pleased with the result and have had many compliments on it. And it's cat approved! The heater makes it nice and cozy, and the fire is realistic for a nice ambience. Using campfire scented wax melts, I could almost believe it's a wood-burning fireplace. The black wood grain color is beautiful! Very very good quality. The doors are soft close. The fireplace blows heat out a good distance, is not loud at all and heats up quick. Overall, I could not be more happy with my purchase!!!
