They have definitely improved my hearing. I’ve been using them for a little over a week, so I am still getting used to them. However, I can say that they have definitely improved my hearing significantly and they work as advertised. They don't have all the "bells and whistles" of the hearing aids that my audiologist suggested I buy, but these are almost $5,000 less. Though I do hear a difference in the sound quality of these versus the $5,000 hearing aids, it is not that significant enough to justify spend the extra money. They do filter noise on the noise filtering settings and I find that useful when driving or in a loud environment. While using these hearing aids I have lowered the volume on the tv significantly to a point where my wife told me it was too low. These hearing aids are simple to use, charge up quickly and last throughout the day, provide a significant improvement to those with impaired hearing, and are affordable. I’ve been wearing my EarCentric hearing aids for about 2 weeks. The cost was extremely affordable. The fit is comfortable, I really don’t even know I’m wearing them. They’re pretty much invisible, so far no one has noticed them. Sometimes there’s a little feedback noise but only if my hand is too close to the opening of my ear and only for a slit second. The sound is great! Especially the TV setting! I have a real hard time with clarity. I can’t understand what most people are saying, the TV, watching movies at the theater, comedy shows, etc. NOW I can hear everything clearly!!! It’s very easy to adjust the loudness and the different modes while wearing them. This is not the first hearing aids I’ve tried but they are the best, my search is over. I bought these hearing aides for my Morher. She had two pairs of hearing aides from another company. Neither of them worked very well. Both pairs had batteries. 1pair had tiny filters. All items were hard to change. The inner ear Hearing aide made everything sound muffled. Had to change the batteries and filter every 3 days. The over the ear. Hearing aides a little better but could not hear very well. Batteries lasted about the same as the first. Both hearing aides I asked over and over to repeat conversations that I could not hear. Neither were good on settings and volume. These hearing aides that I just got seem to hear more clearly. The settings are easy to use. The volume is easy to set at needed heights , regular talks, or especially crowds. I believe these aides are a better choice for me. Thank you. ... show more

I've bought about 5 different brands of these kind of hearing aids over the years with various results. But then I found these on Amazon and decided to buy a pair for my wife whose hearing is worse than mine. Once I set them up for her and she put them on she exclaimed this was the first time she could hear clearly out of both ears, very happy with them. We still own some of the battery operated older ones so I was going to keep using them to use up the batteries. I decided to buy another pair of these as a backup to use later. Once I tried these on I was astounded at the clarity of the sound and the ease of use. I gave 2 unopened boxes of batteries to my son and told him he could try and sell them on Ebay. I was totally sold on these the very first 10 minutes I put them on. I can't say enough about how great these are and so inexpensive to boot! ... show more

I had tried a different brand hearing aid that fit the whole thing in the ear. Not a good choice for me as I had whistling and echos and never could get used to them. I tried the EarCentic aid and love them! They fit so comfortably over my ear and just the little tube goes into the ear. They are so comfortable and the sound is awesome. I never have the whistling and I can hear clearly! It is wonderful to hear conversations easily again! I appreciate the fact that they are rechargeable and I don’t have to put new batteries in every few days. I highly recommend you try these if you are struggling to hear. ... show more

Got these for my 75yr old mother who has struggled with tinnitus and would say "What?" more times a day than she would like. Sometimes she would just smile and nod in agreement even if she didn't hear you. Or say come here so I can see you and hear you. Well... she tried these today and now hears EVERYTHING! She even held a conversation with my Dad from the other room while the TV was on which has not happened in YEARS. So worth it. Truly a game changer and affordable.
