All of the residents at the retirement home I work at has this pair of these rechargeable hearing aids. Charging time is fast, takes about 2 and a half hours to gain a full battery and from that they can be used all day. The case the hearing aids come in doubles as a a rechargeable box that is small and easy to carry around. The residents love how discreetly the hearing aids fit in their ears. These noise canceling headphones have a low frequency but a very clear sound. I purchased the hearing devices for myself. I was unable to use them. The rubber tips that came with the devices did not have any size that would fit my ear canal. There were all to larger there for I was unable to use them because they would not stay in my ear. I should have returned them.

I live alone and don't watch tv. I need hearing aides when I am with others in a social setting, such as a restaurant. They do amplify what others are saying. I wouldn't have been able to participate in the conversations without these devices. However, they also amplify all the background sounds, and that was very annoying. For that reason, I gave them to a friend who stays home all day and watches tv. He is happy with them. I was also afraid they would fall out of ny ears and I would lose them. The first into the ear is quite loose. Maybe my ears are too small? Again, for in a home, they are just fine, but for going out into public areas, I don't recommend them. ... show more

When I purchased them I was reluctant.... But after wearing them for a week now. No longer reluctant. They are fabulous! Turn them up, turn them down... Easy peasy! Easy on, easy out. Easy to charge over night! When they are in your ear.... You can barely see it. But easy to get out with little plastic grip. ... show more

    • All about the treble, and very short lived. Are they intended to be disposable?
I received these 8 days ago, and today they both stopped working. The Right one wouldn’t work at all this morning, the Left one worked intermittently through the day and then crapped out completely after dinner. When they WERE working they were extremely tinny, amplifying high-pitched sounds like fans whirring and glasses tinkling while not boosting lower register sounds like people talking. The volume level was easy enough to set, but they required constant adjustment, as if just walking around caused the tiny little volume control dial to turn on it’s own. And they would occasionally emit a very loud high-pitched squeal, to point where my pets across the room would react to it, and even other humans noticed. Imagine that going off in your ear randomly for no reason. When they worked and the volume was stable and when there was no screeching, they still never dampened out background noise, quite the opposite. I bought these so that I could watch TV with the sound set at a reasonable level without blasting out my family, and they never really worked for that, since they picked up and amplified every other noise in the house. Mirasing Rechargeable Hearing Aids for Seniors & Adults, are not a good purchase. the right side works well if you can get it to stop whistling. I have yet to get the left side to work. I would not recommend these hearing aids to anyone.

Purchased these hearing aids for my mom who is 93. She has been hesitant to get any as all of her friends are not happy with their hearing aids. This product is an amazing value and my mom agreed to give them a try. She is very happy with them! She can hear complete conversations now and the television with it being on a typical volume. She can enjoy phone calls again from her grandkids and great grandkids!! ... show more
