Great looking filament when printed! Has a nice glassy shine once printed. States fast color change and that is probably true on larger items that use a fair amount of filament to print but smaller item you won't see the change due to the color change being about 5 to 10 meters between changes. Printing things like small nozzle storage cases and such will only be the color you started with due to low material needs. Nice transition when printing larger storage bins, vases and such. I had some trouble with individual small components in grid prints sagging vertically during printing but it was due to running at too high of a print speed with the wrong fan settings. Nice sheen on printed items and produces a great finished print even at .3mm setting. Lower settings should be even smoother but will take additional time for the print. Reasonable price of the spool and I am getting a lot of use out of the spool. If you are looking for a color changing filament I think you will like this. Remember bigger prints show the best color changes!! ... show more

My go to filaments were the two with "sun" in their name + an occasional Bambu Lab. However, over last 6 weeks, the "sun" prices have gone up 15-20%. So I gave TTYT 3D a shot. I only got the silk versions, not sure if there are regular PLA. Once I got the temp and other calibrations dialed, these were just as good as the "suns" and Bambu Lab's own filament. AND silk while others are normal. Jumped on today to get some different colors and "BAM!!" prices have gone up ~25%. If I need silk, I may come back to TTYT. If prices remain same or more than the "suns" and "BBL", I'm going back to those. Come on TTYT!! ... show more

Overall a good buy if you don’t mind the colors being not as pictured. Pros: Printed great on my Ender 3 V2 at 230 degrees & 60 degree bed. Cons: Colors are not as pictured which is a huge bummer & it is not a super fast color change. A 6 hour print only had 2 colors. The prints above are all over 12+ hrs each. ... show more

I used the Gold and Shine Blue on my Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro. This filament went on perfectly at 225/60 using Cura. No problems at all. Very happy with this filament and I'm going to buy even more.

I bought the one with the rainbow peacock on the roll, rainbow Shiney color change. It's very nice, I love the prints I've been making. I typically do 205 and 60 for my bed. Completed 11 prints with this spool as of this writing, and it has printed well on my Prusa3D MK3. I had some adhesion problems with the first print--partly the model, partly the filament, I think--but adding 3mm brims made adhesion problems disappear. The initial prints had good color variety, but that began to disappear in later prints. I think the color runs need to be a bit shorter to get more variation in a single print. ... show more

The colors are beautiful, but only when doing big prints with super dense infill. There's also no solid blue color like seen in front picture; its just gold-red-purplish-a tiny bit of bluish/green-green-then back to gold. Its also not as shiny as in the image. The rainbow colors are awesome but the color change is useless for small prints. In the photo the nice looking striped items took roughly 24 hours to print. The orange item lying down printed earlier took half an hour to print with the same filament has almost no color change whatsoever. I would love one of these manufacturers to sell a good selection of rainbow filaments where you can pick the color change rate based on the type you items you plan to print. If it was available I’d probably buy four spools where the full spectrum cycles through in like: half hour, two hours, four hours, eight hours. So only four stars because of the limited usefulness for normal printing. ... show more
