I just got my package 📦 today which showed up just as promised and I open the box and the other reviews are correct there is a slight odd but nothing that a few hours in the garage or any open space can't get rid off (Not That Awful Really) After about 2 hours I started using my new 35 pound dumbbells and I have to say I am very pleased with the craftsmanship of the dumbbells they are very well put together and the weight is solid and the handles have the non-slip resistant grooves which is nice and I am already looking to order the 50 pound dumbbells tomorrow from the same company, if you are debating whether or not to spend the money or if this is a good product, it is very much worth the money.     • Great pair of weights, they do have a chemically smell so leave them out for a bit before using.

I think they are a bit pricey, but they are good overall. They do have a strong chemical smell when unboxing, so be aware of that. Box was a bit damaged but other than that everything was fine.

These are one of the only sets of 10-lb weights I would find that was less than $2 per pound. With that noted, they came on a hot day, and wreaked before even open the package. It smelled like melted rubber. I open it up and the metal handbar is fine, but the black hexes are shredding a black color on every surface. I cleaned with vinegar and water at first, then moved on to an alcohol-water mixture. I washed and scrubbed until I had minimal residue coming off on a towel, but even still they stain the yoga mat I place them on with a yellow-black stain. I don’t want to return them, though, as they still do the job, I just can’t leave them on a light colored surface for longer than a few minutes. ... show more
