  • Same as green model, just cheaper and with a better case
If you are looking at these binoculars, you may have noticed that they look just like the Green model you can find on Sig’s website and from most vendors. At the time of this writing, this black model is on Amazon for $899 while the green model is listed at $1,149 ($1,199 MSRP). I’m here to tell you that I have both and can confirm that they are identical in function, including interfacing with the BDX app for custom bullet profiles. Just ranged a building with these at over 2000 yards so the laser seems just as strong. The only difference other than color is that these black ones come with a nice snug-fit clasp-shut carrying case, while the green ones come with a strange non-closing chest harness that I would say is close to useless. I’ll be returning the green ones. ... show more

  • You will not find better at this price range - period.
I had opportunity to compare my Sig Sauer KILO 3000BDX with Nikon LASERFORCE. 1. Optics - Sig seams to be a bit brighter - especially at the dusk. Since Nikon shows slight spherical aberration on the edges of the field view, Sig suffers from tinny chromatic aberration. Clarity and sharpness is comparable. 2. Ranging - Sig is noticeably faster than Nikon. Accuracy is very close and can be skipped. 3. Futures - Sig is way better. BDX sync and ballistics display makes Sig superior over the Nikon. 4. Mechanical build - Sig is made like a tank, when Nikon is beautifully smooth candy box. Overall - for the price ($980 inc. TAX) you will not find anything better than Sig Sauer KILO3000BDX. ... show more

  • Missing dumb little things
So far, these things are great! My problem as a consumer Hass to do with the small things. Why do I have to come after Sig for an owners manual? Shouldn’t one come with a $1000 pair of binoculars? Everyone else has seen the complaints about the eye covers. I guess we have to figure that out for ourselves. The battery cover is a pain in the ass as well. It’s easy to access for the penny to get off but getting it back in without cross threading can be complicated. ... show more

  • Totally worth it. Paired with a kestrel
The thing is money for ranging and talking to the kestrel. It will range and spit out the solution from the kestrel in the bino display. Used it a few times and i am super impressed with it. Will be using it on my next hunting trip.

  • Solid feeling
Clear glass, easy to focus readout in right eye piece. Provides dope out to 800 yards without extra accessories.

  • Blurry lcd display… Crisp edge to edge image.
I’ll start by saying I have a Vortex rangefinder that is clear as day, I know this issue isn’t my eyes. Not sure if the Kilo 3000BDX I received is defective or not, but the internal lcd display is *always* blurry. Impossible to read the smaller mode settings displayed in the tube. Barely able to make out the larger sized range numbers, it’s that bad… Adjusting the diopters do nothing. Crisp imaging, though. But if I can’t read the data in the glass, pairing to the Kestrel is totally pointless! ... show more

  • Discontinued model, Sig no longer supports it
Arrived in good shape but with no user manual. Went online to Sig Sauer to download it. No longer available as this model was discontinued some time ago. Returned it.
