This wash tub for my dogs has made husbandry activities like bathing so much easier! The tub and stairs are made of thick plastic, it is sturdy and easy to put together. The tub is a perfect height and no more crouching over the bath tub in the house, no more blocking the drain with dog hair, and no more rock paper scissors competition with my husband on who is sitting in the bathroom tub to keep the dog in there for a bath! This has paid for itself in the time and effort that goes into washing 3 farm dogs let alone the cost of visiting a professional groomer. Don't get me wrong we had to do some training to get the dogs comfortable going up the steps and I to the tub but the clips to secure the dog helped make it so this was a one person activity. I like that I could put a lick mat with treats on the side of the tub to help make bath time a better expericence for my dog. The tub is easy to clean and remove hair from the drain, and the drainage tube allows for you to move the tub to a different location or drain. The holder for shampoo, conditioner etc or holding the shower head was a functional and thoughtful design feature of the doggy bath. This has been great value for money even though it was expensive initially it had made dog washing faster and less chaotic. The tub is big so you will need to think about where to store this. Currently using it outside for dog washing but it will need to be stored for winter and to keep it out of direct sunlight. ... show more

    • Makes dog washing a BREEZE!!

Why did I wait so long to get this??? This has been a HUGE back saver for me! It’s sturdy, fits our dogs perfectly with room to spare and makes washing so so easy. The assembly was pretty easy. Basically you pull it out oof the box, pull the legs down into locking position and slide the back piece on. We have it positioned right at our back stairs (no railing) and all we do is pull out the back piece, walk our dogs right in, replace the back and hook the included holding leash around them. Easy as pie. I’m able to stand and comfortably wash my dogs and de-shed as well. The tub is super sturdy and can handle the weight of our dogs without any problem (both are about 60 - 70 lbs) Don’t misunderstand… we only can wash one at a time its not big enough for two unless the are pretty small dogs. It’s safe and designed very well. Seriously I can’t believe I didn’t get one of these sooner! ... show more

Nice unit - I gave it 5 stars because it is very usable, sturdy, nice height, the drain is easy to add a hair trap screen, could be a little longer. I added more hose to make it to the sump pump. However if you have a taller or larger breed the water goes everywhere - my 50 lb heelers are learners and there is water everywhere. I might build a wash station and put up water proof panels that will drain back into the tub. I would have preferred a professional wash station - those are cost prohibitive - this was a good alternative. For smaller shorter dogs this is a good buy - no brainer. ... show more

I tried a different raised dog bath before purchasing this one. It wasn't bad but with the design of its legs it didn't work well in our shower. This one works perfect for what we were trying to do. The legs collapse much like a folding table but are very sturdy. The tub is a very good height. The tub is also 1 piece and a good thickness. The anti slip tread in the bottom is plenty adequate. It is bulky but stands up on its end well with the legs collapsed. Just keep that in mind before you buy it. You'll need a corner in the garage or shed to keep it out of your way. It's not light. Our house is older and has narrow halls and doors. Maneuvering it into the shower isn't the easiest thing. That's not the products fault. But something to keep in mind if you're plsnning on using it inside. If you're using it outside or on a deck you probably won't need to worry about the weight. The only issue I had was the drain. It did not let water flow fast enough. I took a pair of side cutters and snipped it out to just make it an open drain hole and the problem went away. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. ... show more

I have a standard poodle that needs to be groomed regularly, and I’ve been looking for a tub, I really wanted one of those all steel tubs but for the size of my dog I would be looking at close to $1,000 for that…also I wasn’t ready to commit permanent space to a dog washing station. I was on the fence about this tub for a while because I was concerned the sides would be so low my dog would jump out- standard poodles have long legs, so I just wasn’t convinced it would contain my rambunctious boy. Finally I got the tub, and IM SO GLAD I DID! I got the 45 inch tub, and it was the perfect size for a standard. I used this tub outside, and I just created an outside room in yard with some tarps clipped to a fence in order to obscure the surrounding so my boy wouldn’t be tempted to jump out for squirrels or other dogs. Even if he had been though, he would not have been able to jump out since the tub has a great strap to secure the dog. The strap is way way too short for a standard, but I just looped it like an extension around his regular collar and he was well secured, could not jump out if he wanted too and was totally comfortable!! My boy weighs 50 pounds and the tub was more than sturdy enough for him, did not wobble AT ALL, very solid. I read other reviews of people having problems with the drain, no problem with mine…the trick is the drain hose must be pointed downhill…if it goes uphill at all it will not drain…just double check that if you’re having problems. No sharp edges at all in the tub which I love! Only hard part was getting him in since the tub is waist high. I set up a fold out grooming table next to the tub and lifted him onto that first, then walked him from there into the tub. Worked perfect. If you have a standard and aren’t sure, try this, it works great. I put a happy hoodie on my boy before we started and it blocked out any noises that would make him anxious and we got right to work, no problems all! Love this tub!! Also great part is legs fold down and I can store it away until I use again next month! Great quality, great tub, well worth it!!! ... show more
