When we bought this house, we thought the attached greenhouse would be fantastic. It isn't. I've seen the thermometer hit 149.9? F on a summer day. With a black tarp, it would stay in the 120s. With this, the highest I've seen is 108F—still uncomfortable, but those are days when it's 90+F outside. So, overall, I consider this a huge success. The quality seems excellent. The shade cloth was easy enough to put up, and it looks great. However after being under tension for a few months now, it looks like some grommets are starting to separate from the seams? The damage is minimal now, but it’s not a good sign this early

We just had solar panels installed, and were advised that the inverters were not supposed to be in direct sunlight. We are using this shade cloth to shield them from the sun, while still allowing easy access when needed. We liked it so well we ordered a second, much larger, version to shade the chicken run. I’ve had these in bigger sizes for years to have my husband put across the top of the chicken run to provide much needed shade for the girls. After seven years of watching him risk life and limb climbing to anchor the corners and such (It’s a 16’x40’ run this year I had a brain storm. I purchased several small ones that I could manage on my own to hang from the inside of the run. They only sag in the middle a few inches so no big deal. Every year I purchase one of this things for my pool equipment. They fine but here in Arizona only last me a year. I wish coolaroo had this sizes then I would only have to buy one. … but for the price they are worth it. By the way they come with some elastic things to hold them up… they are garbage… they will brake in 2 days… just find another way to hold them up and will last a year or maybe two if you are lucky! 😁 ... show more
