    • Different sizes for the right size.
I already had 14mm but had to order 18mm diameter round glass cabochons because that size was skipped in this selection. I might eventually use the really small ones (6 & 8mm) but more interested in the larger diameters. There are only10 of each size, but I know where to get more. I'm making heads from a variety of materials and they all need eyes. Rather than the more traditional carved or painted eyes I decided months ago that what I wanted was realistic eyes for realistic heads, but the heads are not all the same size, so that certainly calls for larger or smaller eyes! These are all perfectly formed and I'd have no hesitation in using any of them, but for the right effect, because the eyes are a very important part they must be exactly the right size. When they're done right, with an iris and pupil & mounted in a hemisphere BEFORE each completed eyes is inserted and the upper and lower lids are finished, these are stunningly beautiful and an unexpected surprise in "some dumb old head" that suddenly becomes much more real. For tge price and how fast this shipped I'd say it's a great deal. The variation in sizes allows for a wide range of uses. In this piece I used some of the cabochons as bubbles and it just gave it so much dimention and life! I'm already saving up to repurchase more of these.
