I have dirty dish water blonde hair past my shoulders. I do color it sometimes cause I can't stand it. My hair is very dry and look reddish from all the iron in my water. I read the reviews for this product , sounded good but , I have tried other things claiming this and that and didn't work, So I thought what the hell - try it and I am so glad I did ! Just the the 1 st time using it and the shine is amazing. It had a nice soft scent and I could feel the difference as soon as I put it on. The shampoo and conditioner have a very soft feel to it and my hair felt soft right away. My hair seems a lot brighter. I am so happy I decided to try this . The packaging was good - no issues there. I just can't believe the way my hair looks after just one use , can't wait too see what comes later ! I am a first time buyer for the shampoo and this conditioner and now a lifetime customer. I've only used the shampoo a couple of times, but I swear my hair looks more shiny and less dried out. My hair is colored very light blonde and I always use purple shampoo to tone down the brassiness, but some shampoos have left my hair extremely dry and brittle. I've been on the search for years to find a purple shampoo that is sulfate free and gets my hair clean without leaving residue- this is definitely the winner! I actually bought it just based on reviews and I cannot believe how wonderful the scent it! I think I'm going to buy the conditioner as well because it smells divine and best of all your hair smells like this afterwards. I've gotten several compliments on smelling good since my couple of washes! Also, after my 1st wash my boyfriend asked if I lightened or did something to my hair! I couldn't believe that after one wash you could see such a difference. It definitely is a shampoo I won't use every wash just because it tones so much, but I'm really happy with the results. only con is that you have to use more shampoo per wash since it is sulfate free, but that is to be expected and doesn't bother me. Lord this item today was my first day using it and it smells amazing omg!!!!! My hair has been so dull, fine due to meds and I recently dyed it this product has brought so much shine and back into my hair my blonde looked so much cleaner after one use !!!!!! Love it even when I first opened the box I could smell the product !!! And it's super purple a friend recommended to buy this product as she is a hair dresser . Couldn't have made a better discussion love it !!!!!!!! I'm so excited my hair is going back to its regular texture after a year of hair loss I mean huge chunks of my hair was falling out daily ! Almost cried after washing my hair today!! This violet shampoo works pretty well. I have used it several times, and have been mostly pleased. The biggest reason I gave this shampoo 4 stars rather than 5 is because I found that I had to leave it on my hair longer than I am used to for the violet shampoos. The ones I have used in the past have worked within 4 minutes, and I found that this one took about twice as long for the same effect. On the other hand, the effect was good -- it did take away the brassiness nicely, so in that I am pleased. Would I buy it again? Maybe not, because I don't like to dawdle in the shower for 10 minutes waiting for the shampoo to take effect. But if I had the time for long leisurely baths -- this would work fine. (Maybe I should make the time for leisurely baths...but that's a whole other story, LOL.) ... show more

Its great. I didnt think purple shampoos work... i mean they didnt until i bleached my hair ice blonde. It really only works on bleached hair in my experience. Lather it in but not for too long, depending on how toned you want your hair to be!!! I usually later it in for 2 minutes then wash off and it gives me the desired ice blonde. One time i left it in for 10 min and my hair came out looking purple tinged... which ended up being okay because when you dry it, it comes out looking grey silver which is what i wanted that day. At 15 min my hair came out actually purple. But It washes off after a few shampoos luckily. So it really works! It also smells good, and when used in combo with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, did not dry my hair ... show more
