I’m very pleased with this serger. Sews very nicely and the machine has a good weight and rubber on bottom corners, so no sliding around. Stitch was perfect. Very easy to thread. Works well on heavier fabric too.

I thought this was going to be a nice serger. When I got ready to use it I found that the safety interlock on front panel was not placed correctly and you had to push on the panel continuously to engage the interlock so that it would sew. I sent it back and ordered a Brither 1934d which seems like a better machine so far. ... show more

    • Easy to learn for begginers
I ordered this serger without knowing how to use one. Taking it out of the box it seems well made and quality product but I was intimidated by it, didn't know if I would be able to make it work well. I still need to practice more but was able to get some good finishes around a handkerchief I made so I'm very please with it, it is easy to use and will keep trying all the kinds of stitches so I get more confident to use it when I need to instead of paying someone else to do a quick easy job I can do now. ... show more

I got this for my daughter who is wanting to get into sewing. She took a class and now she is hooked. When you first take it out of the box it is really intimidating, it has all of this threading and just looks scary. She was able to figure it all out by reading and watching videos and she is loving it. She has made a couple shirts and is making a blanket for her friends birthday. This is a fantastic serger! The settings are nice. The speeds are great. It runs smoothly even at high speeds. I don't have to chase my serger around the sewing desk. It has a tiny little accessory drawer in the back that's not only adorable but functional. The differential feed is easy to access and a total game changer. I also love the free arm so that I can edge my sleeves before I hem them. My favorite part is the easy threading diagram AND the visual next to each tension dial so that I can quickly change the right tension without trial and error or referring to a manual.
