The most challenging part was assembling the stand it sits on. The pre-threaded starter threads were a thoughtful touch. That said, if you’re like me and accidentally pull them out instead of using them as intended, don’t worry—threading it from scratch is easier than it looks! Tips for New Users: If, like us, you don’t have an in-house digitizer, I highly recommend joining embroidery groups to find a trusted one. This can save you a lot of back-and-forth when making changes to your designs. Ease of Use: Operating the machine is straightforward. Load your DST file, set your colors and hoop size, and let it run! While there’s a bit of a learning curve, the process is surprisingly simple. What an amazing product. What an amazing care team. Now imagine if all companies tested their customers this way. Within seconds I get the help I need cell REN and his team. I am blown away and will only return to this company. Money well spent. It’s intimidating but so easy once you get a hang of it. And it’s super super fast. Great quality machine - it’s a workhorse. The stitch quality is great, the accuracy is great. No problem taking in any .dst files from my Hatch software. The things you have to accept - the manual isn’t helpful because the English translation is too off, the YouTube videos are good but IMO not enough of them, but the customer service is excellent and 1x1 and super responsive and you can send videos and they will tell you exactly what to do. That works fine for me as a night owl so it corresponds well to morning in China, but for daytime users you might have to wait for a response. I’m a hobbyist so for me to spend the money on the German machines didn’t make sense. I have been super happy with my purchase and the pros far outweigh the cons and I really feel this is a good value for the money. My advice is really dedicate time to learning how to use and adjust it. Investing the time to do so will pay off in the long run and save on frustration. ... show more

We have been selling custom apparel for several years now and have always contracted out embroidery because the equipment was just out of our budget with all the other equipment we have and maintain. The BAi Mirror 1501 15 needle machine was at such a great pricepoint we took some money out of an investment and purchased one. A little intimidating at first, but after watching the BAi videos on youtube and learning basics, it was easy to get started. There were a few minor adjustments that needed to be made and some software that needed upgrading as well as a slew of questions about adding hoops, tension settings, and more. Chris the person at BAi that has been helping me with those questions and settings, has been great! He is very responsive and is very knowledgable about the machine and its settings. We will most certainly be purchasing the next level up multiple head system from BAi as we expand our business into the wholesale embroidery arena. Don't hesitate to purchase, the support is there, the training is there, and the machine is overall very easy to setup and use. It is also VERY HEAVY, eat your Wheaties before you uncrate it! ... show more
