I am currently training to be a Pilates instructor, and I wanted to find a foldable reformer to practice on at home that didn’t break the bank. I was so happy when I found this one because most of the reformers under $1k use cords instead of springs. The reformer was easy to set up, easy to fold when needed, and is great quality for the price. If you are very tall, this reformer might be too small for you. I am 5’6”, and when I lay on the reformer and extend my legs on the foot bar, the carriage almost touches the back of the reformer. I have been using a pilates reformer in my PT's office and decided to buy one for myself on Prime Day. I am trying to help my back problems. The first time I used this reformer it felt "cheap" but decided to give it a try. It makes awful noise while gliding, the hand and foot ropes are flimsy and cheaply made. It is very hard to adjust the hardest spring as there is so much tension (not like that on the one in PT), and as someone else stated the back board is not comfortable. All that aside, I thought well I can make this work. Today, 2nd time using and decided to use jump board (one of the main features I wanted). It broke into the second jump. I am 5'5'' and only weigh 117lbs and super careful with my back so nothing very hard and bam it broke. I am so bummed. I am trying to write the company, but have not found a place to do that yet. I may just go through the trouble of sending it back. Spend more $$ and get something better. ... show more

I returned this reformer due to its clunkiness and durability. The carriage would come off the tracks with certain moves such as pushing back with foot on shoulder pads. Paint chips and will cut you. I’m 5’2 but the headrest seemed short but the actual reformer was long. Unable to dip feet towards springs from table top position. It’s also very hard to adjust springs. The media could not be loaded. The Reformer is the best workout machine I’ve ever tried. It’s well-made, easy to adjust, and works for all fitness levels. You can do many different exercises that help you get stronger, more flexible, and improve your posture. Plus, it’s gentle on your joints, so it’s great for everyone. The Black Box, which comes separately, made a huge difference. It adds extra resistance and more ways to move, making the workouts even better. The media could not be loaded. I suppose this reformer might be okay for some first time users, but I’ve only had it a few weeks and already wish I would have invested more money for a nicer one. The jump board snapped and completely broke in the middle of my first workout using it, so it’s completely worthless. Not a super smooth glide. And the shoulder pads are abnormally wide. This isn’t exactly something that would be easily returned so I would recommend spending a bit more and getting a better reformer. ... show more

This is a great little reformer for at home. It's easy to put together. Easy to breakdown and set up when you want to roll it out of the way. I'm 5ft tall and it is fine for me with adjusting hand and foot position to get full range for all exercises. I would recommend this anyone who needs to have an at home option when they can't get into the studio. It slides well and the metal springs are definitely preferabel to bungee chords. ... show more

The Reformer itself is good.seems very solid but the straps seem to loosen way too much. The instruction Manuel is Awful. If you are not familiar with a Reformer it would be difficult to put together.
