The 1.5" TC bulkhead fittings are designed without welding.The TC port can be added to any vessel without welding. There is no flat surface for the wrench on the front of the flange.The easiest way to fix the flange is to clamp any other with washers and clamps TC parts. After tightening, you can insert a long rod or screwdriver into the hole of the wing nut

Worked perfect. I used a Greenlee 49.6mm punch on my stainless mash tun. The groove in the fitting retains the o-ring for a good seal without squishing out. I held the nut with a large crescent wrench, lubricated the o-ring with food grade lubricant, and tightened the fitting using a rubber strap wrench. The extra o-ring was a nice touch. ... show more

I wanted to use sanitary triple-clamp connections where possible in my recent conversion of my home brewing gear from gas to electric. These are very well made, and have the perfect thickness and density gaskets to properly seal on the curved face of a brew kettle without leaking.     • Works but the interior gasket is kind of a joke

The interior gasket has too much slack, and there's no groove to hold it in place so it's a pain to get it seated correctly. What I decided to do was to flip the nut backwards so that it has more space to squish the gasket against the wall of my kettle even if the gasket isn't seated uniformly. I was able to install this thing without it leaking after figuring that out and tightening the hell out of it. The gaskets should have a wider outer diameter and fit more snugly. The bulkhead adapter itself is fine though. I may try to replace the gaskets so I have more confidence that I won't get some random leak in the future. ... show more

    • Said 2" , but stamped 1.5". But fits 2". I.D. maybe?

It showed up stamped with "1.5". Which I can only assume is inside diameter...because it fit my hole and accepted a 2" pipe and 2" tri clamp. Seems like good quality. Very heavy and feels well built. Works for what I needed.
