This SELSIL 05 Kitchen & Bathroom Moisture Curing & Water Resistant Sealant, 100% Silicone Sealant is just that, sealant. Some might call it caulk, but to each their own. It works as well as any other I have used, or did use on my daughters bathroom remodel. It stuck and sealed like it should have. The big thing for me was the vinegar smell. It was very potent in this tube. Once it cured all the way, the smell went away though. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, it is your typical sealant. The removable nozzle is nice too. I don't know what Alfred Lord Tennyson is on about in his review here, but it sounds like he may be using this for things outside of its labelled purpose. It's silicone caulk. It's sticky and you should research how to apply it correctly to avoid a mess. It seems to be relatively high quality and low odor. ... show more

This caulk came out easily and spread without issue. However, the odor of this caulk is very strong so you will need to ensure proper ventilation. I haven't used a silicone caulk with such a strong odor in years. If you are very sensitive to these odors then take the necessary precautions.
