I’ve had the Furrytail litter box for a while now, and it has made such a positive difference in my daily life! I no longer have to scoop at all, which saves me so much time and effort. Plus, there’s absolutely no odor—my home stays fresh, and the litter box is totally quiet. The design is sleek and aesthetic, fitting right in with my decor. My cat took a few days to warm up to it, and I think I may have switched to it too abruptly, which stressed him out a bit. Once he got used to it, though, it’s been smooth sailing. The ambient light is a cool touch, and I love that I can control it in the app. Speaking of the app, it’s incredibly user-friendly and provides detailed data. It keeps track of everything, so I know exactly how often my cat uses it and even his weight changes. I only have one cat, but for multi-cat homes, I imagine the tracking would be even more fascinating—though I’m curious how it handles cats with similar weights. One small downside: I’m not a fan of the mat that comes with it. I find it a bit unattractive, and it doesn’t do much to catch litter from my cat’s paws. Cleaning the mat is also a bit of a hassle. Still, that’s a small issue compared to the overall quality of the litter box. Compared to other pricey options like the LR4, this is a more affordable choice that still delivers on all its promises.     • Better than other brands and half the price
We had a litter robot 3 for 3 years. We have 3 cats, two boys and a girl. We couldn’t get the litter robot to stop smelling no matter how much we cleaned it. We bought this one to replace it. It has been almost a month, and it is fantastic. It is simple and easy to set up. The app is wonderful, and I like how it weighs the cats. (The litter robot 3 didn’t do that). It does not smell even when it is almost full and doesn’t have to be emptied as often. I love how you can take the drum and wash it because there are no electric parts. I also notice we are using less litter. (We use unscented light weight clumping litter) I am so glad we switched. I will say my anxious boy took about 3 weeks to start using it without coaxing and is still a little skeptical. The other two took to it right away. Great purchase. ... show more

So this is my second automatic litter box. My other one that I’ve bought on Amazon started to malfunction after 8 months of use. It also had a door and a combing mechanism which in hindsight was very hazardous to my 10 year old baby. I bought this one and it’s been an absolute breeze. First off the aesthetic of it is very nice, modern, totally fits the theme of my living room. Before I even plugged it in my cat was already inside peeing. The app is also nice, easy to understand, and I love that it gives me updates on my cat’s weight. I also love how quiet this machine is, it doesn’t startle my cat at all nor does it disturb me while sleeping. I can’t smell anything yet since it’s only been 1 day of use but hopefully it stays that way at day 5. The bags that come with this are pretty big so I’m assuming for 1 cat it should last for a week. Overall I love this machine. I hope it lasts. And I will be updating this review periodically rather it’s good or bad. As you can see in the photo my cats been sitting and watching for it to rotate lol I guess he likes it, too. UPDATE: So since it’s almost been a month I’ve got to rave about this machine. It’s been almost too perfect and just a very great investment!! I went on vacation for a week and I had my friend check in on my buddy and they didn’t have to change the bag out at all. It actually ended up lasting about a week and a half! My cat feels fully comfortable using it but it’s also become his new activity to watch it clean lol He’s completely fascinated by it, more so than this old litter box. The media could not be loaded. Overall, it was a great purchase that was worth it. I have had the FurryTail Automatic Litterbox for almost three months. It has resolved three litter issues. I needed an automatic litterbox that fit my cat's long body but was small enough to fit in the corner space available. It also needed to fit the design aesthetic of the room. The FurryTail was the perfect size solution. It had a modern look for decor and was cost-effective compared to what I had researched on the market. The FurryTail was worth the investment, saving time in cleanup and odor control alone. Emptying and replacing the litter bags is convenient; a quick wipe-down refreshes everything. Minor Issues: I had to reconnect the device to the FurryTail App once (in 3 months), which was no big deal. Another time, I did not close the trash door completely, and it got stuck when rotating the drum, but that's an inconvenient user error. I advise always to securely shut the trash door so it rotates correctly! The dimming light feature is a beautiful touch; we now use it as a night light for evenings. Hope this helps! ... show more
